You are 85% there now. It would be fun to see everyone's costumes they wore as adults. I had not thought of all the different costumes, themed Halloween parties I hosted and went to in a very long time! It was fun just thinking back on them. I am hosting my very first halloween party as an adult, and i’m very excited and nervous! i’m hosting it with a friend so the guest list is a combo of our friend groups. i’m going as Zoro from One Piece and am hoping to dye my hair green for it! for actual Halloween day, I usually dress up for work and then go as a witch to pass out candy for trick or treaters!

We're also going trick or treating with young family, in this case our goddaughter who's Dorothy and my hubby as the Wizard. No adults really dress up properly here (Scotland) so it's nice to take the chance... Love dressing up. Wish Halloween was a bigger deal!!

There was a horror movie from 1983 called Sweet Sixteen so I’m going as one of the killer’s victims (Johnny) and my husband will play the Sheriff (because it’s simple and doesn’t require much besides regular clothes - I just need to make his sheriff badge).

I know it's not for everyone, but I think you'd really like the 2022 Munsters film-- it is higggghly corny/campy and the costuming and sets are just so friggin fun. We usually do a lot for Halloween, but this year we're taking care of a bunch of family stuff and can't devote the time to our normal shenanigans. When I have time, I will sneak in some spooky reads and podcasts, and appreciate the crunchy leaves and changing scents of the season.

My grandpa, mom, and I used to watch The Munsters a lot and this week was the one year anniversary of his passing, so this really put an extra smile on my face when I needed it ❤️ I also love finding other people who know about the show because most people think I'm just incorrectly describing the Addams Family. For Halloween I'm going to be Mothman! And my wife and I are going to drive down to Denver for a Spirits and Spirits event at a living museum! Thanks for what you do and good luck through Maksoween!

I got into the NYCC Eastern Championships of cosplay and I need to finish this costume that I've been working on for over a year! SO CLOSE though! Due to all of that, I have no idea what I'm going to be on actual halloween as a big ballgown would not do well in an office environment. I'm thinking Maybe Nadja or a classic Witch!

So last year I parked a table on the street off our driveway, decked out with candles, crows, my cauldron, pumpkins, potions and more spooky stuff and projected a Halloween ambience video on my garage. The table was flanked by my huge iron candelabras (the benefits of having lived in SoCal, sourcing from movie prop vendors). Everyone came to visit my little bog witch corner! So my witchy workshop will be making an appearance again this year!

I can't wait to see all of the Maksoween for 2024 :) We have loads of kids who do our village Halloween trail, but we are known as "The Halloween House" because we go big :-D Over the past few years I've been making props to turn my front garden into a haunted abandoned fairground so I've made a swings ride and a little section of roller coaster from scratch and my home-made zombie dolls are riding on those while my 6 foot tall zombie clown watches. I really want to make a little ferris wheel thing this year but I haven't had time to start so I just don't know if I'm going to get it done in time, but there's always next year! I still have no clue what to wear for Halloween either. I'm toying with the idea of a zombie Marilyn Monroe
