Let's Talk 2024 Plans! (while I clean and organize my barn)

Howdy partners! It's time to chat about the upcoming year (and tackle organizing my barn because it is an actual garbage pile) Projects, cosplay plans, big builds, collabs, travel, oh my! Let's DO ITTTT.

Let's Talk 2024 Plans! (while I clean and organize my barn)

Comments

I love catching up on Patreon videos months later-- I just wanted to offer this since my husband and I also don't like the phrase "kill two birds with one stone," he came up with "feed two birds with one scone" and now we say it all the time. You're probably not supposed to feed bits of scone to birds, but.... it's still a more whimsical alternative!

Allison Burris

I recommend putting bins under the benches at the wall! You have space under there, and label maker it baby!

Claudia

I would totally watch a video of you tackling a handful of mini projects-like the window clings. You entertain me no matter what!

Jessica Lewis

I would love to see you do Phantom and Christine from my favorite musical The Phantom Of The Opera by Sir Andrew Lloyd Webber!! 1💚

The Haunted Pirate

If you don't get traction with that "local renfaire" I have a connection that I can tap for you.

Jennifer Kavjian

YOU SHOULD COLLAB WITH SIMONE GIERTZ! You would be the perfect match!! <3

Jessica Jacobson

I love all of these video ideas. Your videos just make me so apply to be honest. Even just you cleaning is nice and relaxing 😂

Katie

I was thinking the same!!

Liz

Cube Escape Collection..... Kinda dark but interesting puzzle detective-y game collection

Lucinda

Love the racoon project! ❤️ ✿❧🌿❧✿ ❤️

Lucinda

I would definitely watch you just getting bins, putting assorted things in bins, labelling stuff, and all that organization goodness. I find videos like that soothing, as well as motivating. Makes me want to clean. So you could film yourself cleaning up ALL the time and I (and probably others) would watch it.

Rowan Jalso

for a patreon, i'm curious about your tech setup and editing videos!

Britney

I am almost afraid to suggest this... But. If there are any hills around on your property where it would make sense- what if you made an actual hobbit hole?! Or like at least make the hill look like the outside of one with the lovely windows etc.

Haylie Allcott

Outfits inspired by videos could be split up over a long time. Maybe just record one or two a week when you feel like playing dress up and then edit them together. Or you could choose a theme and just do 3 characters a video

Kayt Erickson

Ok hear me out… collab with an organizational content creator/professional business. They can feature you and you can document the process on your channel too

Cristal Velarde

Dear Lord! What a mess! LOL. I have the same problem in my near future.

Aunt Heidi

If you separated out the scrap fabrics, you could make several small projects out of using them up. I know you wanted to do a patchwork project, but you could also sew a plush lil guy (stuffed with the tiniest saved scraps instead of batting), or make a lap quilt, or craft accessories like hats or bags.

InAnotherCatsle

Or if anyone has any recs for hobbity content in general, let a girl know!

Stevie

I would love to see another video where you dress in different weirdly specific aesthetics. But the catch is I need it to include a Hobbit Wedding look for very personal and selfish reasons!! 🤩💍🥰 Also, I’ve been watching your videos for at least 6 years now and I want to say thank you so much for everything you do. You work so hard, and we see you and appreciate you! 💛

Stevie

Would love to see you do something inspired by Alphonso Mucha's artwork!

Shelby Ambrose

I always say ‘feed two cats with one bowl’ instead of the bird one, so I appreciated how you said ‘pet two birds with one finger’ LMAOO

Mel 🐱👑

Just thought I’d share; I was watching Anne of Green Gables (with Megan Follows) this morning and my husband came in and said…”wait…isn’t that Rachel Maksy?” 😍😍😍

Alexsis Balaoing

Cooking and baking with Tommy videos! Those could be some of your "simple" ones!

Kendall

For me I'd love to see basics tutorials, like how to hem something, how to understand and cut out a pattern etc just basics you know that could help any fledgling seamstresses

Whiskersomalley

I genuinely LOVE tidying and organising videos. More of tidying and organising and chatting would always be welcome!

Holly

Yes to this!!! I personally love watching organization videos and find it oddly satisfying. So if you need us to body double you so you can make those bins a reality - we’re here for it!!

Rosalie

ADHD brain!! I clean the same way. Ignore it, until I need to tackle it. Then I make piles... Helps to see the progress but also gives it a built in "save point" if you have to walk away. Good luck

Jessica Huennekens

I’m really hoping I can make it to a Comic-Con or cosplay event you are at this year

Stacy Robnett

Do you pull your larger masks and hats back out for additional photo shoots?

Neona F Smith-Solt

I am done now😂

Hannah Walker

Been watching your videos for a few years now and I just LOVE them! Thanks for sharing your talent and creativity with us!!!

Hannah Walker

Also, not sure if you’re as much into Narnia things, but some great nostalgic lovely projects could happen in that realm!!

Hannah Walker

I think you’d CRUSH IT making fairy garden aesthetic things!!! Maybe making it a little simpler by re-doing some plastic doll houses like you did with the Frozen castle —> Gingerbread Castle

Hannah Walker

Also, if you ever do get to building a green house, you could also expand and make a chicken coop or small fenced in garden💓

Hannah Walker

You should create a Model Hobbiton Village perhaps put by your froggy pond?? Creating like a lil water mill into the pond, several hobbit holes, kinda like a fairy garden…?

Hannah Walker

I would love to see you make up outfits from your closet again mimicking movie characters. I got some good ideas on ways to organize my crafts.

Eugenia Snyder

It would be hard for geography reasons but I’d love a Leena Norma collab! I feel like there’s probably some overlap in your audiences

Lauren D

literally I feel like multiple people here would pay good money to be invited to help you clean your barn. any rachel maksy content is good content. also I get the fake satisfaction of also thinking that by watching this I have also cleaned (fake, I thought I was going to but just watched this instead). so glad to hear you're feeling happy right now, hope your 2024 continues to be full of things to look forward to!

Amy

One of the biggest organizing mistakes is buying bins/shelves/etc without a plan. Organize FIRST so you know what you’re keeping/tossing, how much room it will take up, how you want it stored (do you want the items visible, like books on a shelf, or away in a drawer), and where the items will go. THEN buy your organizing materials to fit those needs!

FrizzyLizzy

I love going on organizational journeys, so when you get around to labeling things in Le Barn, please take us along with you! (Vintage luggage tags for the trunks to identify what's inside? Antique store style 'price tags' tied into things with string? I love having fun with labeling things)

Kathryn Charlotte

I know this is something that's been mentioned before, but video game livestreams would be fun too! And it might give you the chance to game a bit more.

Rebecca

you know a collab I’d loooove to see is with Kira (PricklyAlpaca) the energy and chaos would be everything

Paula Nieto

Love seeing Rachel in her little guy and puppet era 😌😌

Edith

Maybe you could set up a tv in the barn? Also, I was thinking a large craft table with tons of storage would be a nice way to add storage. It would also give you somewhere to lay out fabric to cut and pin on! I know you enjoy being a floor troll, but as you get older, you’ll find that a table will be much easier. Second bonus, all of your mess will be confined to one room.

Angie

For some reason… when you mentioned how you like making mechanical cosplays, I immediately pictured a Pinocchio cosplay from Lies of P with arm gadgets and light up Jimny Cricket :3 t’would be very verrrry cute~!

ofelili

Girl, whenever you need to, feel free to use us for coworking to get stuff done! If it helps you put your window clings on you can talk to us and make a video for here! Same with cleaning! We’ve got your back and want you to feel comfy and thrive 💛💛

BeccaPeppermintz

Dear Rachel, take the Clutterbug quiz :-D your barn looked like my apartment before I saw the light and embraced my butterfly self 😂 I look forward to all these plans for the new year!

Michelle

A way to turn the trunks into more open storage that is still *aesthetic: https://www.remodelaholic.com/antique-trunk-into-a-bookshelf/

T M

Idea for simple projects could be mock ups. Like, your goal is to figure out (for exampe) how articulated wings work on a small scale. You could take more time to learn and explain the mechanics of a cosplay technique. You wouldn't have to worry about making it pretty, you would have more knowledge of the mechanics to use before diving into a larger project, and potentially you could make it out of disposable materials to conserve space.

Sabrné

I know this would probably be a long shot, but when you talked about building a green house I immediately thought about Morgan Donner! It would be so cool if she and her husband could come and help you out! It seems like a project that would be right up her ally...

Ashley Clinton

I think we all have disaster areas to clean up post holidays. I wish I could show you mine. I went to clean it this morning and spent an hour walking in circles muttering, "Is this buckram or tarleton?" FYI, it was buckram. Then, instead of putting away a bolt of upholstery velvet I'd used for a witch hat, I had my daughter help me measure and cut two lengths and sewed a quick pair of draperies for my son's room. At least watching you get organized I can get vicarious satisfaction from *something* being tidied.

Jayne Hicks

Things I’d love to see videos on: Organization project videos! I think this would be fun! More miniatures! Can’t wait to see what you create this year! Thanks for all you do!

Andrea Gillanders

1. Do you have a label maker? 2. Would you ever consider selling small projects to your fans to clear out stuff you don’t feel attached to anymore? I think you definitely have a market for it (all of patreon) and you could clear out some space for new projects? 3. Do you have any Victorian story-like game suggestions that I could play with my husband?

Rachel Hogan

I love all your videos, truly, and I am SO EXCITED that you said you're in your puppet era!! I really love all your miniature videos, they make me so happy. I did see a video (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TEfwiNfTCB8) from a creator called Cattywampus Acres where they make a greenhouse out of reclaimed windows and doors! This seems like it would totally be up your street, and you could find all kinds of strange/funky glass and vintage things for it. Thank you for all your amazing content!!

Michaela

I loved your Costa Rica vlog.

Vanessa Weideman Jenner

I love cleaning and organising videos, especially with your aesthetic! If you don’t feel like rambling you could always just slap some music on there, I would watch the shit out of that! But I also want to second everyone who said split your bigger builds up into multiple parts! You make such great content, that wouldn’t change if you took some „shortcuts“! ❤️❤️

Ronja Schrand

Maybe Jacques ze Whipper would do a collab? You could talk about ren faire/circus costumes and I feel like the vibes would be real good

Madeline Myers

I love your long form videos. Do what brings you the most joy and your audience will come along for the ride!

Ella Miss

I go absolutely feral for travel vlogs, so if you go anywhere and have the time to film a little something, do it! In reality though, anything you film is going to be a hit with me :)

Maggie Stewart

Patreon video idea: showing how you story board out your video ideas. I think that would be so interesting to see how an idea goes from a quick idea on paper to flushed out.

Wendy Litteral

For smaller in-between-the-big-stuff projects, maybe some cosplay (or regular!) makeup tutorials? Or some more themed-clothes weeks?

Heather Hofshi

Victorian Greenhouse. Check out the Hartley versions https://hartley-botanic.com/ranges/victorian-greenhouses-us/ for inspiration. I think THIS must be a business expense. As have "friends with greenhouses", and after listening to them, my advice is always get the largest one you can install and/or afford. You can fill it quickly and easily and want more space. Go big!

Sharrie

Just so you know Rachel, and anyone else here Joann’s Fabric is doing a gigantic sale on organization containers right now. I realize many of them are plastic and we’d rather not use them because of that, but often it allows us to see what’s in each container and can be put away into the pretty vintage pieces so you don’t lose the aesthetic you’re going for!

Sarah Kelly

I love these genuine simple videos. Something I've been super wondering is instead of rushing through stuff why not have a part 1, 2, 3, etc. progress videos? So then you can breathe but still get content out. I think it could be attention grabbing too because people love cliffhangers.

Brenna Gregory

I'm sorry but all I could think about was Safiya's video where she got professional organizers to organize her clothes 😂 Girl, take some help where you can get it! I'm trash with asking for help even when I'm drowning. Perhaps you can get someone to help edit or even help with the short form content. Of course I'd be happier with less content if it means it will alleviate you before you burn out! This community wholeheartedly supports you and will be here even if you need to take some steps back or regroup. As for "easy" content, I love your chatty vlogs. They're cozy and it feels like a hang. Also perhaps more thrifty adventures!

Mary

more videos with savannah you guys could go the to thrift store and revamp items or thrift outfits for each other

dreamerofareader

I love your simple projects! Even watching you paint a picture or go thrifting!

Maggie

You're doing just fine - I always love to see what projects and fun stuff you are doing, and sharing them with others.

Tricia Hoffmann

For some of your more "simple" videos -- I'd actually love to see you sit down and plan your elaborate projects or give up small updates on those big projects. Like, "I hate dyeing fabrics here's what I learned this time" or a small tour of the Padme embroidery, or updates on how the project is going. I know a lot of folks hate multi-part YT videos and love to see the finish result at the end, but the process on these really large, intricate projects is just so darn neat!

Morgan

I love love love chill videos like this, both here on Patreon and on the main! I think documenting a greenhouse build/decoration would be so cool, and some con vlogs would be fun! And I love those fashion vids inspired by characters! There would probably be a way to turn that into both long form and short form content if you wanted. Love you Rachel 🤍 so happy to be here x

Anna of Cleves ❦

Would love a video/ blog about going to cons maybe? The process of packing all your costumes and clips from the con maybe ?? Like everyone else tho I’d watch anything you make ! ❤️

Molly O

Thrift/vintage hauls would be really fun to revisit. I’m also a big fan of mystery unboxing videos. As for collaborations, Abby Cox is an amazing human!

Rosie Cossentino

Would love to see you do another video with Savannah! Your needle-felting frog video with her is one of my all-time favorites!

Bridget

Any content, complex or simple, is always nice because it is great to just 'hang out' and watch you do a thing like I do with friends in the real world. Also it could be interesting to follow a big build over time, like the raccoon mount costume in several videos to avoid a rush and see how the puppetry and design to fabrication process goes. I also watch Nicole Rudolph and she has done breakdowns of her projects with a video dedicated to each piece of a costume and it is no less fun in my opinion. I guess I'm trying to say that in the effort to be nicer to yourself (yay! We all need to do that!) that maybe give yourself permission to not feel like everything has to be all wrapped up for each video reveal

Victoria Fair

So fun! Thank you!

Amber Rhodes

or when a professional comes in to help you organize ugh i always enjoy those

Bri

I use this video to clean up and organize my kitchen at the same time. It was needed

Allison Kern

OMG I live near Chicago but can I come to help organize!!! Every time I see your fabric cabinet I wants to go to town on folding and organizing…love you and the tornado!!!

Kate Hinkle

Sounds like you need to partner with FurryLittlePeach for your rideable illusion: https://www.furrylittlepeach.com/bandits

Ashley Quam

Community gardens are awesome! I was exaggerating about how tiny my yard is… I’ve got an herb garden, a veggie patch, fruit trees, and wildflowers. I just don’t have room for a greenhouse.

Mina Murray

Such an exciting year ahead!

Heather M

As for simpler videos, I love your old thrift hauls and mystery box unboxings! And as for collabs, I think you should do something with Darling Desi!

Tova Svensson

Someone probably already mentioned it, because it’s so obvious: collab with Morgan Donner! Just two talented and pleasant human beans… And of course we all wish you a not too stressful 2024

Martin Gelbenegger

Could a fashion video double as a "quick" video for YouTube, and a quick reel for Instagram? Another option for a quick video is one of your painting ones, where you sit and chat and paint? Also, as a patron, I'd love to watch you organise your fabric stash, because that cupboard gives me some serious anxiety! Maybe Tommy could come help you, or it could be a fun "collab" with a more organised you tuber? Anyway, I'll watch you do anything. Anything creative I mean!

Madame Clochette

For collabs you should look into Evan and Katelyn on Youtube. Very similar vibes different content!

Mikayla Furrh

You said junkyard lady and yeah, raccoons are cool, but hear me out: dinotopia!

Annamatopoetry

Not to put too much pressure on you, but, I am grateful for you too Rachel. You inspire me me to try new things and I love your spirit.

Tricia

feed two birds with one scone :)

Susannah Starr

I am ignoring the massive amount of organizing I need to do after a very big move to another city. Thank you for giving my brain both respite and a smidge of inspiration to tackle a few things. Your content plans sound delightful! As of right now I don’t have the thinking tool working well enough to offer any ideas like your other lovely patreon people. I’m just happy to be here hehe ☺️🐸

Borbfan28

Look up "community gardens" in Dorchester. Fairly low cost - 50 or 60 bucks in most cases. (I live on the South Shore of Mass.)

Margaret MacLellan

She needs to do a Patreon Travel adventure to Hobbiton, cause I want to GO ! LOL 🤪

Margaret MacLellan

Happy new year Rachel!!!! I don't comment often, but I just wanted to let you know, you are one of my favorite people, you remind me so much of my best friend (lil crafty taurus floor troll finding joy in the little things) and it brings me so much joy to see you just doing your thing <3 I'm so excited to see what you make and do this year! I'm in the Phoenix area, if you ever get around to it, I'd love to meet you at the Phoenix Fan Fest. Best wishes and lots of love!!! <3

Emmy Gariepy

Also- random video idea? Maybe you can let people send you pictures of their room/space and you can just say what you would do in that space. I need inspiration lol

Christina Batts

For more storage you could look into those shelves that are made to go over toilets so you can keep your trunks! And then it can be a project/video where you make them yours.

Christina Batts

I would get rid of the trunks and put shelves in that space. Or a tall cabinet

Tricia

I would LOVE to watch a “behind the scenes “ of filming Instagram shorts!!! It would be pretty hilarious to see you changing from one costume to another. Please always film the making of cosplays!!

Thea Maia

For a while, I’ve really hoped to see a video where you show your process of making title/transition shots for your long form videos. I’ve always loved and appreciated the aesthetic shots that you put into your videos that go with the vibe of whatever you’re making. This would be a great Patreon video, I’d say! Anyway- much love from snowy Michigan! Your Friday content makes for the perfect cozy night in. ❤️

Sarah Posie

You should turn the trunks on their sides and add short legs to turn them into custom cabinets.

Kayleigh Dz

I have not yet cleaned up the chaos of post Halloween/Crimus yet. But I also haven't finished holiday crafting yet....so....🤷‍♀️

Rachel Sturm

I would love to see you tackle more granny crafts with your personal flair and sense of humor. The options are seriously limitless: knitting, crochet, spinning, weaving, candle-making, paper-cutting, rug-making, quilting, etc. I love seeing your exploits with needle-felting (and in the early days, sewing!) and I love that it's not just a one-off episode. Something that you're new at, where we could follow your journey periodically in different episodes, would be so fun. I also love my granny-crafts, so spending time doing them (virtually) with you would be so nice!

Tyler Gualdoni

Perhaps one for sometime in the future, but it would be great to see you do a hobbit cosplay and shoot it at Hobbiton in New Zealand. There are also a couple filming locations for LOTR in the north island (where Hobbiton is) where they filed Rivendell and Lothlorian and you could do an additional cosplay there too so you get the maximum content out of the trip. The north island is rather small so it’s easy to drive around. You would love Hobbiton, it is such a magical place 💚

HoneyAndBlueberries

I would love to see you do a cosplay of this character, from the game Palia, or just her outfit - https://www.artstation.com/artwork/YBoAGY

Zillah Patterson

This idea is so simplistic that I don't even know if it's worth typing, but it helped me, so I'm gonna say it! A few years ago I switched my pessimistic mentality about things not lasting by going from: "I shouldn't feel good about this good thing because it's not going to last" to "I should feel good about this good thing because it's not going to last" and for some reason that worked and it has honestly made a difference! (Also I love videos like this because they make me feel like I did something productive even though I actually just sat on my floor and watched, so thank you!)

Kae

I'm knitting level like "scarf" but if there's a group pattern or something a bunch of people want to do, count me in! I will totally screech my way through trying to make a sweater hahaha

Jac and the making of

A knitting calib be so fun 🤩

Beebe Doe

i cannot WAIT for heath ledger cosplay omg

Beebe Doe

LOVE the idea of your cafe and you documenting it. It is going to be so lovely xoxoxox

Lalé Liddell

Yes! Illusion costumes! I just saw this today and felt it relevant to your interests: https://www.tumblr.com/batri-jopa/735048177170923520/feniksido-this-made-me-clap-so-i-want-to-be-sure?source=share

Mariah Lamour

Wow you have so many cool ideas for this year! I especially love your idea to build a Victorian green house 🌿. I hope that one day you are able to open up your own Victorian cafe. I know you’ll make it so beautiful. Happy New Year! 🐸🪕

Shayna Adams

My friend did a studio tour and there might be some storage ideas in here. I like her island with all the drawers. https://youtu.be/xfmlCpEYi1Q?si=-GBEA8PCVf7fzbt0

Carrie Treder

I have a cabinet with glass doors so I can actually see my fabric (ADHD coping skill), but having some kind of labels on the boxes that are opaque really helps with keeping track of where everything is. At some point I kind of want to do old-timey apothecary labels for everything just for aesthetic rather than the fluorescent orange chalk marker I did originally.

Anna O.

The first video of yours I ever watched was you making 20 vintage outifts based off of fictional characters, so I might feel a little nostalgic, but if it's too much making those videos in short form, I love seeing them in long form! They're always the perfect blend of comfort and chaos and it helps me feel comfortable wearing day-to-day cosplay while I can afford and feel more confident wearing something more costume-y. Anyway, I love ya and I love anything you make so I'm really excited for 2024!!

Katherine Brett

Dude! I’d love to watch you play video games. Like Uncharged or The Last of Us or Red Dead Redemption or another favorite.

Mikaella Karahadian

You need a cabbage patch! For scraps I also love watching colabs! It's one of the reasons I gravitate towards doing community challenges with my sewing/costuming.

Jac and the making of

I have been felled by some sort of flu and am lying on my daybed like a Victorian maiden literally unable to do anything except snuggle my cats and sip tea. This video was a delightful bit of cheer and makes me want to organize my whole sewing room now. I also wish I could have a greenhouse, but I live in Dorchester (my fellow Mass-dwellers know that means I have a yard the size of a postage stamp), so I must resign myself to only gardening when the weather is good.

Mina Murray

Consider bringing storage out away from the walls? Like a kitchen island or peninsula. I have a "wall" of yarn and fabric dividing a large room into a living space and my craft room and it solved a lot of storage issues for me!

Molly

Rachel, I would LOVE to organize all your things! Also also, I think it would be so cool if you made a borrower puppet outfit- it could be like “trash girl” mixed with “borrower” I think that could be cool.

Samantha E.

I loved spotting all your little creatures in the barn, so cute!! mouse knight is my favourite <3

venlaauroraa

I love seeing Tommy in your videos. I love his personality and sense of humor. A favorite is an oldie when you 2 swapped styles.

Jenni Cooper

You can also make a Patreon video of you doing a bunch of little things like the window clings, I’d watch and enjoy that!

Elizabeth McDaniel

I tidied my desk (crafting space) while watching this. Yay for that! I definitely love having Tommy on the live streams. It's great to get to know him a little better.

Beth Winegarner

For storage and aesthetics . You can have book shelves or cubes. Then build doors that look like old steamers trunks, old drawers. It would solve both issues . Plus you might be able to do a Collab and a video.

Rena Hafeez

Organization is sooo fun! There’s so many innovative ways to maximize your space and make your life so much easier! I’d love to see a video on that, maybe another Patreon video? If you want tips and ideas I’d love to weight in an I’m sure there’s plenty of other who would do the same! You could share your top areas/items you struggle to organize and what storage options you have/would be willing to invest in? I literally used to help clean my friends bedrooms as a kid I’m not even joking. I’d love to help or even just watch!

Elizabeth McDaniel

Also how I wish you and DIY Danie lived closer. I feel the two of you could collab to turn your stacked trunks into some kind of cabinet -- our make a cabinet with faux stacked steamtrunk look? -- that would be *aesthetic* but also practical.

Lo Lla

This is genius. Cozy vids or cinematic clip show. I'd watch the sh1t outta this. I sometimes watch my fave reveals (coughCLOAKcough) because of cinematic mood.

Lo Lla

"I'm in my puppet era" Yesssss! If you need inspo whilst you floor troll, fire up MAX (if you have it) and watch the "Spirited Away" stage play. We screened it last night. It was two hours of me saying "How are they gonna do...oh wow...so cool!".

Lo Lla

My favorite "kill two birds with one stone" alternative is "feed two birds with one scone", shortened to "two birds one scone" cause I can just imagine two little birdies nibbling on scone crumbs.

Maddy Prevost

I may be the only person who would like this, BUT I love ambiance videos. I always have them on when I am working/writing/reading/crafting. And you have created such a cozy atmosphere, I would LOVE a "Rachel Maksy ambiance" video where it's just an hour of aesthetic shots from your house + music you use in your vids. Just something to think about, I will love any content you make! Especially looking forward to A Knights Tale 😊

Alexis Garland

These are great ideas! Your “illusion” raccoon idea gives strong Varian vibes from Tangled the Series… ☺️

Janna

I genuinely love watching videos of people paint/clean while they chat lmao I usually wind up cleaning too

Arti

Happy new year!!! :)

Rachel Maksy

Oooo maybe!

Rachel Maksy

eee right back at you!! 🥰🥰🥰

Rachel Maksy

right!!!!

Rachel Maksy

Maybe it deserves it's own patreon video hahahaha

Rachel Maksy

Heehhe yay!! Oooo that's smart!

Rachel Maksy

EEE thank you for the ideas!!

Rachel Maksy

Hehehee thank you my love!!!

Rachel Maksy

AW YAYYYY, welcome!!!! 🥰🥰🥰

Rachel Maksy

LOL noted!!

Rachel Maksy

My mother in law made a greenhouse, she made her own stained glass for it too! You and Nick could totally make one

Christine Ortis

Yay! :)

Rachel Maksy

YESSSSSS

Rachel Maksy

i would love to record them!! But yeah like you said, I'd need someone to help film since me and nick would be battening down the metaphorical hatches the entire time hahaha

Rachel Maksy

hahaha YUPPP also a crafting party sounds magical

Rachel Maksy

Aww yay :)

Rachel Maksy

OOO laundry room is a good idea, it's a MESS and stressful in there currently hahahaha

Rachel Maksy

1. I love Tommy I need him in more things 2. You live in New England so you got access to tons of old ass houses, would be cool for you to explore them! Would be such a cute miniseries with you and Tommy ‘splorin and being silly and Nick as the straight man behind the character who’s lightly jabbing ya’ll 3. If you guys open a cafe i’m moving to Mass 4. Would love love love to see literally any home reno stuff you do, like literally anything bc you make it fun. 5. I think it would be so fun to do like a sketchbook review and see all your ideas thru the years

Caitlin Land

Hurrah for tidying! I think your barn is NEAT. It's a very fun and funky space. I always love your home decorating videos (admittedly because I find them inspiring), so I'd love to see more of them in 2024. Especially if you get your greenhouse!! I love me some PLANTS!

Leigh

So happy! I'm a new patreon-fellowship member and this is the first new video since I´ve joined. SO ready to sit down with a coffee and get cozyyy! :))

Klara

This may be out there, a cleaning livestream could be fun, if that's something that could also help motivate you! maybe once you've gone to the container store for bins lol!

Arti

I really like your cozy videos. It's a bit like having a chat with a friend. 😊

StrawberryMad

Highly encourage the William from Knight’s Tale cosplay. I’ve been planning on making Kate this year. Great minds think alike!

Whitney

I love when you find old things and learn to use them, those are some of my favorite videos. I also think it would be fun to see your ComicCon events, especially those of us who cant make it. I know that's a lot, and you would need someone to record you probably- but maybe pair it with you packing and prepping? We will always love anything you do!

Kat Harness

Literally, the only reason my craft stuff is organized into bins is because I hosted a crafting party. I 100% understand the need to manufacture motivation through social pressure, lol.

Jen W

This made my commute back home so much nicer and quicker 🧡

Lisa

Video ideas: -An aesthetic laundry room makeover -Learning about plant care from a crazy plant lady in prep for your Victorian greenhouse Patreon video ideas: -Going back and fixing old projects (like adding pockets to all of your skirts/dresses) -Random small house projects that wouldn't make sense as a full video (like finishing that window in the barn)

Julianna Stout

Could you build a chest of drawers frame to hold the trunks? So you can keep but also access?

PhilippaTill

Happy New Year - I honestly love organizing videos, so this was an absolute delight while I'm in the kitchen making some soup. 🍲 As an idea (and to prep for your future cafe), you could start a series of drink-making (or baking) experiments!
