A "Moulin Rouge" inspired photoshoot!
Added 2023-03-16 16:00:59 +0000 UTCHI FRIENDS, in lieu of me attending Moulin Rouge on Broadway (my first EVER and boy-howdy am I gonna ugly cry), I wanted to show off the vintage suit I altered and I figured: Why not go all out? SO, I made a little Moulin Rouge-inspired set in my barn and put on my best '1900s sad boi writer' face. I wanted to show you some of the process behind my little shoots like this, starting with hair and ending with photo editing! I hope you like! LOVE YA thank you for being here!

This will probably save you a little time and you can start to build up your collection of personalized presets and name them fun things. I’m pretty positive folks here would love to download some from you if you ever wanted to share. 💕

As of yet, I have only seen one show on Broadway (She Loves Me - which i quite literally ran off to see at the absolute last minute, basically not sleeping for 24 hours to take a bus all night to get there and go straight to the show the straight home after nearly getting myself stuck in NYC alone and with no money after missing my bus home lol, but that's another story) and let me tell you, I am not a crier. I hate crying. I don't mind others crying (though I am awkward and don't know how to react), but I hate crying myself and dear god not in public. But the SECOND that that overture started, I absolutely burst into full on tears! (And in the process actually completely freaked out the man sitting next to me lmao) So long story short, bursting into full-on, ugly-crying tears is a completely valid response (to Broadway or Moulin Rouge, let alone both)!

Turkish delight on 9th Ave is delicious. @9 seems to be my go to for Thai. Il forno on 8th has delicious Italian (and a vegan meatball option)

2023-03-16 16:25:16 +0000 UTCSo cute, would love to see more videos like this. For the finger waves, all your missing is the s shaped curves that connect the ridges where you put the clips. I learned to do them in hair school on wet hair with lots of gel and a comb before setting with clips and letting dry. You can brush them out once dry for a more soft look. Their is tons of ways to do them online, but try the wet and comb method, I always found them fun to do as it’s kind of sculptural.
