Valentine's Dress Poll!
Added 2023-02-05 18:28:02 +0000 UTC
HI FRIENDS! So this week I'm going to try to recreate this super frickin' cute 1950's playsuit (but with a detachable skirt because rompers look like diapers on me heeey-ooooo). I can't decide what I want the skirt portion to look like: Continue the repeated heart pattern OR do a more traditional 'circle skirt' design?
I'm thinking repeating the hearts might be a bit more timeless and less SPECIFICALLY Valentine's Day. ANYWHO. Lemme know what you think!

2023-03-17 07:39:08 +0000 UTCAnyone else fully blown away by how well and fearlessly Rachel went in with that red marker on that white dress and all the dang hearts came out perfect? Or just me? :)

2023-02-11 02:47:40 +0000 UTCThis was bittersweet for me, Our School system, here in Ontario Canada, has now cancelled any giving or receiving of Valentines' cards, as it is not something all nationalities celebrate. The taking away of giving cards to your friends, showing you care and are cared for just seems so wrong. Loved the dress though!

2023-02-11 00:43:12 +0000 UTCJust wanted to say the video brought me so much joy today when I really needed it (battling COVID for the first time and it's going quite rough despite being fully vaccinated and boosted). Thank you for being you, for the whimsy, and for making me laugh today when you tried eating a conversation heart and described it as tasting like "elementary school rejection" 😆

2023-02-10 23:37:50 +0000 UTCJust watched the video. I do like the final make 😎 as a sewer with 2 cats I know the "hair magnetic" fabrics. Well done you.

2023-02-10 22:54:54 +0000 UTCI'd like a combination, or a two in one skirt, like a skirt/secret pants combo, always love the unexpected. Whatever you decide on making will be lovely regardless...

2023-02-07 21:34:44 +0000 UTCOoof, hard to decide, and either will look super-cute, but I’m loving the classic poodle skirt vibe of the “B” option. I get what you’re saying about the continued pattern maybe being more versatile, but I kinda think that makes it MORE Valentine-y, truth be told…. but not like that’s a bad thing! Can’t wait to see how it turns out!

Racheal Jones
2023-02-07 02:40:11 +0000 UTCI think Option B would work better if the bodice only had the one central heart and not all the little ones. As it is, I like Option A much more.
Laura Clayton
2023-02-07 02:08:20 +0000 UTCI love the poodle skirt style, but agree it may be a bit too ... specific? dated? not usually against things like that, but I think the bodice complements the overall heart pattern better
Elena Joy
2023-02-07 00:34:39 +0000 UTCmake it double sided and do both?
Ruth Loc
2023-02-06 22:40:57 +0000 UTCI think option B would have been more interesting. I would have liked to have seen how you made the bottom heart design - WITH EMBROIDERED BEADS MWHAHAHAHAHA
Oli Bee
2023-02-06 22:29:31 +0000 UTCI like the idea of an extra panel with hidden hearts. Maybe with some red tulle for a little pizazz!
Kristen Waltrip
2023-02-06 19:15:43 +0000 UTCThey are both so cute, it was hard to choose one! Either will be great!
Anna Roberts
2023-02-06 19:12:18 +0000 UTCI have been staring at these 2 options since yesterday and I had to flip a coin because I can't decide! They're both so cute!

2023-02-06 16:30:36 +0000 UTCLOL omg that would be frickin adorable
Rachel Maksy
2023-02-06 16:21:48 +0000 UTCOOOO That's smart! Idk If I'll have the time for that this go-around but a reversible circle skirt is genius!
Rachel Maksy
2023-02-06 16:21:08 +0000 UTCMe too!!!
Rachel Maksy
2023-02-06 16:20:27 +0000 UTCHow much horrible effort would it take to dangle little hearts all along the hem? Surely not as much as 3000 little tiles on the disco ball dress? Maybe too much? Is there such a thing?
Kendra
2023-02-06 14:56:06 +0000 UTClove both designs! Was really hard to choose. I can’t wait to see this come to life ✨
Ainsley Mayersky
2023-02-06 14:52:32 +0000 UTCLoving the first pattern. Its more romantic. I vote heart prints
MomoSaurus
2023-02-06 14:14:29 +0000 UTCA reversible option would be amazing!
Robin Foltz
2023-02-06 13:49:58 +0000 UTCBoth are great choices. I like them both, Maybe a reversible removable circle skirt? I'm voting for B, I think its cute and totally 50s

2023-02-06 12:30:19 +0000 UTCReversible! ❤️
Elin Westerlund
2023-02-06 11:53:32 +0000 UTCI have a sneaking suspicion that you'll end up making both, given time. Personally, I like them both and know they'd look great on you. Have fun. ❤️
Gail Tilley
2023-02-06 09:20:18 +0000 UTCTotally agree with TiGar there - the overall heart pattern gives it a more vintage feel. <3

2023-02-06 08:54:08 +0000 UTCI love the vintage vibe of all over hearts ♥️

2023-02-06 05:00:51 +0000 UTCYay, so excited to be able to vote in polls! Looking forward to whichever design you create!
Cassie Creley
2023-02-06 04:40:36 +0000 UTCOoh he would be so cute in a heart bow tie!
Cassie Creley
2023-02-06 04:39:03 +0000 UTCBoth are lovely. I think the skirt pattern on B would flow a little better with the top if it was rotated to the left slightly so the bottom of the top heart and the squiggle for the bottom hearts met up
Jaymie
2023-02-06 03:28:43 +0000 UTCI feel like you’ll get more use out of A, but B is so fun! I am 100% team reversible ❤️
Janessa Penner
2023-02-06 02:43:59 +0000 UTCI ❤️ it either way!
Natasha Sawicki
2023-02-06 02:20:47 +0000 UTCYay! The first Maksy poll I've taken part in. Feels momentous!! ❤❤ Can't wait to see the finished dress, which ever option wins it's going to be SO cute!
Stara Herron
2023-02-06 01:41:20 +0000 UTCTo me, the poodle skirt style reads more "costume" than everyday wearable. With the repeating hearts, (assuming you're not using an existing print fabric), you could also have them cascading down or more tightly bunched at the top and more spread out at the bottom. I'm sure it'll be utterly adorable, whichever direction you decide to go in :)
Holly Dunn
2023-02-06 01:36:52 +0000 UTC100% reversible all the way!!!
Liz Hennessy
2023-02-06 01:27:29 +0000 UTCI think that's a great idea- it will take up less space!
angela lucas
2023-02-06 00:57:10 +0000 UTCReversible!!! ❤️

2023-02-06 00:28:04 +0000 UTCYaaaaassssss reversible!

2023-02-06 00:18:12 +0000 UTCExtra panel would be so pretty!

Gian Balangue
2023-02-05 23:10:09 +0000 UTCReversible!!!💖❤️
Saralouwho
2023-02-05 22:58:02 +0000 UTCIt would look more like the old poodle skirts if it was one big heart design
Melissa Elphinstone
2023-02-05 22:57:12 +0000 UTC100% team reversible skirt! Both are super cute so why not both? 😂
Julia Tarita
2023-02-05 22:53:30 +0000 UTCYeah, reversible would be amazing! Or an extra panel that opens to reveal the other design?? So excited to see the finished look!
Brieann Chapple
2023-02-05 22:44:01 +0000 UTCThat was a hard choice! They are both adorable!!
Brieann Chapple
2023-02-05 22:41:48 +0000 UTCSince it’s detachable, you can make one skirt then the other. OR MAKE IT REVERSABLE!
Jennifer Harlow
2023-02-05 22:38:59 +0000 UTCI really couldn’t decide so I went option b thinking it was more 50ish still both are so cute
Sarah Roop-Rosales
2023-02-05 22:30:26 +0000 UTCwonderful idea!
Anna Wilson
2023-02-05 22:26:35 +0000 UTCI said A, but they are both freaking cute. Team reversable skirt all the way bay-bee!
Carrie Dunlap
2023-02-05 22:16:44 +0000 UTCIf it's detachable it could also be reversible!
willowflame13
2023-02-05 22:14:44 +0000 UTCditto
Debbie deTreville
2023-02-05 22:14:01 +0000 UTCI am on team reversible skirt, which seems to have been suggested already. 😁
Elizabeth Cherry
2023-02-05 22:11:44 +0000 UTCthat's such a good idea!
Eva Wildschut
2023-02-05 22:11:02 +0000 UTCIt doesn't have to be all at once, but, why not both?
angela lucas
2023-02-05 22:10:54 +0000 UTCDefinitely option A!! It’s going to be so adorable!
Tatiana
2023-02-05 22:08:47 +0000 UTCOh, or reversible skirt!!
Evelyn Smith
2023-02-05 21:49:26 +0000 UTChear me out - it's a detachable skirt right ? so you could do both ?
alyssia
2023-02-05 21:42:30 +0000 UTCLovecore all year round!
Eva
2023-02-05 21:41:55 +0000 UTClove the poodle skirt idea but honestly love the all over hearts more! ❤️
Eliott Jaimes
2023-02-05 21:20:20 +0000 UTCThis is so cute. Can't wait to see how this turns out!
callie guilfoyle
2023-02-05 21:16:00 +0000 UTCOption a is too good to say no to 🥺
Bon Schweetz
2023-02-05 21:15:45 +0000 UTCI love option A, but I am so excited to see how this turns out regardless!
Sam Williams
2023-02-05 20:47:46 +0000 UTCThey are both cute, but I feel like option B is much more custom and personalized. With view A, you just cut out the fabric and you're good to go. View B is more unique and can be tailored to your preferences
Sarah G
2023-02-05 20:41:57 +0000 UTCI think both are super cute (and I can see why you're having a problem deciding); I went with A because of the wearability but honestly, go with which project will make you happiest t create.
Ninka
2023-02-05 20:41:45 +0000 UTCI was thinking a combo of big heart with small hearts, but reversible would be just as cool.
Tee Moonbur
2023-02-05 20:26:16 +0000 UTCOh my gosh these are both so cute! I love the all over hearts personally but I say go with what you'll wear the most!
Kathryn Ballinger
2023-02-05 20:23:09 +0000 UTCOption A is just so fricking cute ☺️
Charlotte Ménétret
2023-02-05 20:22:38 +0000 UTCThese are both so adorable! I think the all over hearts pattern will be the most "year-round" friendly, but literally you can't go wrong either way! <3
Jessie
2023-02-05 20:14:58 +0000 UTCOk hear me out...I voted for A, but what about a poodle skirt design with...kissing poodles!
Mary Good
2023-02-05 20:11:58 +0000 UTCeither one works for me… I saw that most were asking for the heart pattern so I voted for that one too. Although, I kinda wanted the other one more. LOL
Kelly (Nellas)
2023-02-05 20:04:02 +0000 UTCThat is so cute😍
Eme Brie
2023-02-05 20:01:20 +0000 UTCThey're both gorgeous but I prefer the all over print ❤
Rachael Cowden
2023-02-05 19:55:42 +0000 UTCOption B looks more like the poodle-skirt design, so timeless 1950s.
Lilac Haven
2023-02-05 19:55:14 +0000 UTCI love both designs, but I'm a sucker for a good all over love-heart print!
H.J.Ross
2023-02-05 19:49:46 +0000 UTCFor someone who wears their heart on their sleeve I would definitely put a big one on my skirt too…. My vote is B
Kate Rothery
2023-02-05 19:49:04 +0000 UTCRomper with attachable skirt is the perfect dancing outfit. Twirls without caring your skirt lifts up. Does husband want to twirl you for the reveal? Adorbs
Jennifer
2023-02-05 19:47:03 +0000 UTCI love them both! So hard to choose. Love the versatility of the repeated hearts but also love the niche-ness of the poodle-style. Whatever you choose will be so super stinkin cute though!!
Andrea
2023-02-05 19:45:40 +0000 UTCIf you're going for what the current crowd likes Rachel - you'll do the repeating hearts. But if you want to do authentic 1955 -- it's the simple 2 heart design. My aunties all had Poodle skirts back then and solids and simple designs were the shit. See: Grace Kelly - The noir Femme fatales like Ava Gardner
Dave & Kim Tew
2023-02-05 19:41:47 +0000 UTCoooh reversible
Rachel
2023-02-05 19:39:44 +0000 UTCUse a stamp and fabric paint for the hearts!! It would look so cuten
Miriam Dean
2023-02-05 19:38:19 +0000 UTCBut consider: both?
Tee Moonbur
2023-02-05 19:38:00 +0000 UTCRepeating heart pattern for sure! Also if you're ever looking for content to put up here I'd love to see printable patterns for some of your projects - your vintage makes and wearables are so cute!
Ivy
2023-02-05 19:36:31 +0000 UTCBut, uh, consider this: two poodles kissing instead of the hearts
Hayley Mar
2023-02-05 19:35:02 +0000 UTCI voted for B because you could deck out those hearts with doilies and other cute shit. But duh A would be great, too
Hayley Mar
2023-02-05 19:34:12 +0000 UTCSo excited to vote in the first poll!!
Derrillynn Parker
2023-02-05 19:32:36 +0000 UTCLove the all over pattern, much more options for other uses since it's detached. Can't wait to see what you come up with!
Jessi C.
2023-02-05 19:32:10 +0000 UTCHmmmmm, I really love B and that big ole heart (because I am an animal who would wear big hearts any day of the year with 0 shame) but!!! Yeah... Probably A.
Evelyn Smith
2023-02-05 19:29:47 +0000 UTCWhile I really like option B, I think that for this particular bodice, the continuity that option A offers will look best.
Melinda
2023-02-05 19:28:17 +0000 UTCRepeating hearts would look super cute I think, I really love how it looks in the reference picture :)
Rhiannon
2023-02-05 19:27:20 +0000 UTCLol, why is it that I when I picked the less popular option, I felt like I picked wrong. 😅 But I stand by option B!
Elena Teresa
2023-02-05 19:25:29 +0000 UTCI really like B, but you're right, A is less specific for Valentine's day.
Lena Clark
2023-02-05 19:25:11 +0000 UTCHearts all over for sure!! It also unintentionally gives 'stereotypical men's boxers in a cartoon' which is a vibe (a vibe a love) hahaha
Mary Jane King
2023-02-05 19:23:44 +0000 UTCI picked B because I love the 50s vintage look, but it would honestly be adorable if you did the reversible thing so you could do two skirts in one. I know it’s more work, but it also makes the dress more versatile.
Carole Moore
2023-02-05 19:22:50 +0000 UTCLooking great! Can’t wait to see the finished product :)
Nadia Meyer
2023-02-05 19:21:43 +0000 UTCThe all-over heart skirt might look better to wear with other tops too.
StrawberryMad
2023-02-05 19:21:41 +0000 UTCThis will look so beautiful on you!
Kelsey LaRiviere
2023-02-05 19:20:35 +0000 UTCThese are SO CUTE, can't wait to see it come together! ❤️
PricklyAlpaca
2023-02-05 19:16:42 +0000 UTCAre you adding the hearts by hand? It could be cool if you kept going down the skirt and then faded them out like halfway down.
Sarah
2023-02-05 19:14:34 +0000 UTCThat romper is to die for! It'll look so gorgeous as a dress. I like option A, but I'm such a sucker for hearts.
Enasni Vee
2023-02-05 19:14:31 +0000 UTCI was goint to pick B, but then I saw the inspo pic. It's so cute.
Buffy R Cary
2023-02-05 19:13:14 +0000 UTCThis could be very cute with some big ole sleeves, too!
Bethany Encina
2023-02-05 19:10:37 +0000 UTCThis will be so cute! Something that worked for me to fix the diaper-esque romper issue was to make the legs a little wider & longer so they don’t cling, maybe it would work for you too!
Emily Garth
2023-02-05 19:09:59 +0000 UTCI say a mix of both, so it doesn’t have as much white
Emma Weston
2023-02-05 19:09:10 +0000 UTCI think you are spot on with your thinking on which pattern. A detachable skirt will be so cute.
Ever Adventuress
2023-02-05 19:08:42 +0000 UTCThe reversible skirt idea ( or a reversible corset? 🤔) Option a will look so cool made up
Marilin North
2023-02-05 19:07:54 +0000 UTCI love the heart pattern if it's detachable even better!!!!!
Sanam Jamshidi
2023-02-05 19:07:13 +0000 UTCOoooo this is such a great project! ♥️
Charlotte Fox
2023-02-05 19:05:33 +0000 UTCOooohh I'm excited for this!
justine Desrosiers
2023-02-05 19:04:20 +0000 UTCMy three year old was adamant about option B so I had to go with her choice this time!
Jessica henry
2023-02-05 19:02:38 +0000 UTCI prefer A but you do you Rachel. I have no doubt you will look good no matter which one gets made.
Kris McBride
2023-02-05 19:02:16 +0000 UTCIt’s so cute! 😍❤️ I second heart shaped glasses to go with it!
Clara Schnitzel
2023-02-05 19:00:14 +0000 UTCI think having the heart pattern continued on the skirt will make the heart bodice stand out more :) this is so cute!
Mikki
2023-02-05 18:59:00 +0000 UTCOption B is more wearalbe later :)
Katarzyna Gajewska-Rogusz
2023-02-05 18:58:03 +0000 UTCOh man, this gives me Grease, Sandra Dee vibes! Now I want one!!
Davita Kirkland
2023-02-05 18:56:19 +0000 UTCThis idea is so cute!
Stacey Rice
2023-02-05 18:55:49 +0000 UTCHow cute! Whichever way you choose to go I know it'll be darling! I can't wait to see it! 💛✨️
A.M. McPherson
2023-02-05 18:55:36 +0000 UTCwhichever option you go with, PLEASE get some heart-shaped sunglasses to wear with it 😍
Laney Boyd
2023-02-05 18:54:04 +0000 UTCThe big heart shape on the top already seems like enough of a feature, I think option B would make it all a bit much for the eye?
Katie Brobst
2023-02-05 18:53:19 +0000 UTCI second the idea for doing reversible design for *obvious reasons*
Rachael Roqué
2023-02-05 18:51:07 +0000 UTCI think you can't go wrong with either design, but I'm leaning to Option A with all the hearts. YOU WILL BE A LIVING VALENTINE 💘
Kristin Rogersdotter
2023-02-05 18:50:31 +0000 UTCAre you willing to play with the colors and patterns of the top? The heart pattern on the skirt looks good, but paired with the heart pattern throughout feels overwhelming. If the big bodice heart was solid white it might not be so overwhelming. Or maybe solid red fabric for the bodice that isn't the heart?

2023-02-05 18:49:59 +0000 UTCoh that’s a great idea!
Nico
2023-02-05 18:49:07 +0000 UTCExcellent idea!!
Lilly Patch
2023-02-05 18:47:25 +0000 UTCA detachable heart? I had one on my Halloween dress.
Tine
2023-02-05 18:46:55 +0000 UTCI love both so much! I kinda want a reversible skirt with one design on each side. But if I have to choose, it's the repeating hearts pattern
Katelyn Bowlin
2023-02-05 18:46:23 +0000 UTCmaking it reversible is a great idea!

2023-02-05 18:46:09 +0000 UTCI love the asymmetry of option B, so I picked that one, but people make some very excellent points about option A. Both are lovely!
Emily Lien
2023-02-05 18:46:00 +0000 UTCSo cute!!! 💛
Cassie Falat
2023-02-05 18:43:54 +0000 UTCHooray! So excited!!!
Amanda Meehan
2023-02-05 18:43:38 +0000 UTCThe felt circle skirt idea is very reminiscent of a poodle skirt to me. If that’s something want then go for it, but the continuous heart concept is very timeless and can be worn all year round. If you are looking to give it a little bit of flare you could always embellish a few of the hearts on the front panel with sequins or some such bedazzlement. 🥰
GingerGeege
2023-02-05 18:42:17 +0000 UTCSo excited to see that!
Capuce
2023-02-05 18:42:00 +0000 UTCOoohh I love the suggestion someone made of making it reversible!
Chiichick
2023-02-05 18:41:41 +0000 UTCThe heart pattern is an adorable option! It could also be great as a summer dress, too. The larger print section on B would look so cute on a tote or apron.
Ashleigh Ann Gardner
2023-02-05 18:40:11 +0000 UTCThis is so cute!!! I am ready!!!!!
Katherine LaPlante
2023-02-05 18:39:41 +0000 UTCI also love the idea of doing a reversible skirt. Or 2 skirts since it's detachable.
Karli Koeser
2023-02-05 18:39:06 +0000 UTCSo exciting!! Can't wait to see it
✨Sadie✨
2023-02-05 18:38:14 +0000 UTCI was also first drawn to B because it looks like the hearts in the traditional Portuguese clothing. But it is true that the couple of hearts would remind too much of valentine's day to be worn on other occasions. Can't wait to see the result !
Maren Bivar Letemple
2023-02-05 18:38:00 +0000 UTCAre you going to use a specific pattern??? I’ve been trying to find a good play suit pattern for a few weeks for a costume I’m making!
johanabi (yo-ha-na-bee)
2023-02-05 18:37:58 +0000 UTCGenius, yet so simple
johanabi (yo-ha-na-bee)
2023-02-05 18:37:23 +0000 UTCYay!
Lindsey
2023-02-05 18:37:16 +0000 UTCOh, that is such a good idea!
GumUlf
2023-02-05 18:37:11 +0000 UTCOption A - it continues the hearts theme but doesn't distract from the heart on the bodice. I can't wait to see the end result! 💕
Lucy's Vintage Compendium
2023-02-05 18:37:09 +0000 UTCYou could make it reversible! Best of both worlds. :)
BlameMyMuses
2023-02-05 18:36:33 +0000 UTCAs a dress I would say B, but as a detachable skirt I'm saying A, as it would work in more outfits.
GumUlf
2023-02-05 18:36:26 +0000 UTCThat's a GREAT idea :o
Helga Dís Björgúlfsdóttir
2023-02-05 18:36:22 +0000 UTCUnless you already have a repeating hearts pattern? The larger heart design - and I'd do it in something like yarn or embroidery fabric, just to make it a bit more... I guess timeless?
The Evills
2023-02-05 18:35:35 +0000 UTCI was initially drawn to B but I think you're right about A being a bit more timeless and able to wear more
Stacy Litwin
2023-02-05 18:34:59 +0000 UTCOh I like this idea!
Allison Surratt
2023-02-05 18:34:58 +0000 UTCTough choice. Is there anyway to make the lower portion reversible?
Christian Frahme
2023-02-05 18:34:54 +0000 UTCVoted for A but both are so cuteee
ChristinaUdale
2023-02-05 18:34:13 +0000 UTCI love both (maybe reversible?) but I feel like option B's little heart decal would look better on a purse or clutch to go with the dress
Maggie Mae Shaak
2023-02-05 18:34:05 +0000 UTCI think the heart print pattern would suit a romper, but the visual scale of the skirt might need something a bit larger to offset the heart shaped bust? So a few hearts falling across the hips, but then turning into the larger felt traditional valentines hearts would suit the proportions better. Also, painting that many hearts on that much meterage of cloth would kill your hands and take eleventy million years.
Heidi Hickman
2023-02-05 18:33:27 +0000 UTCMy first reaction was option B but the more I looked at them, the more A became my favorite.
Lynnetta
2023-02-05 18:33:21 +0000 UTCThe hearts give me that kind of apron/housewife vibes but the other one reminds me of poodle skirts. So I love the circle skirt one!
Brenna Gregory
2023-02-05 18:33:12 +0000 UTCWhat a genius!
Rachel Hogan
2023-02-05 18:33:04 +0000 UTCBizbot is on to something! Reversible skirt! They are both really cute 💕
MadamRed
2023-02-05 18:33:04 +0000 UTCMight be cute if the hearts stayed lighter in quantity at the waist and then got more heavy toward the bottom, kind of ombre/gradient
Kristen McD
2023-02-05 18:33:01 +0000 UTCLiterally just so happy to give input 😭😭😭 this Patreon gives me SO MUCH serotonin ❤️❤️❤️

2023-02-05 18:32:36 +0000 UTCIf it’s detachable you could in theory do both
Amy Short
2023-02-05 18:32:36 +0000 UTCLove it! 🥰It’s so cute,sexy and fun. I’m sure it’s gonna turn out amazing ❤️
Fati Trujillo
2023-02-05 18:32:33 +0000 UTCUghhhh that was a hard one!! I love heart themes and it was a super close decision but definitely repeating hearts. If there’s a choice for more cuteness, always more cuteness 😍🥰😘❤️
Mallory
2023-02-05 18:32:23 +0000 UTCWhen I was a tiny munchkin an aunt would handmake Barbie clothes for me. She made an outfit exactly like your Option A. ☺️😍
BlooValkyrie
2023-02-05 18:32:18 +0000 UTCThe repeating heart pattern!
Abby Normal
2023-02-05 18:32:02 +0000 UTCIf you really want, you could do the little hearts but make a detachable heart detail for when you're feeling festive 😉
Maggie Stewart
2023-02-05 18:31:36 +0000 UTCOhhh...heart pockets!!!
Monica Jenette Tschirhart
2023-02-05 18:31:32 +0000 UTCThe all over hearts are just so so cute!! 🥰 I love valentine's outfits 😭💗

Lauren Werlinger
2023-02-05 18:31:11 +0000 UTCi agree that the pattern will probably be more timeless! also, it's so nice to be able to be part of a project like this! 🙌🏻🥰
jesuiskatie_
2023-02-05 18:31:10 +0000 UTCOmg what if you made the skirt reversible and did one on each side?? 😍😍😍
Leanne O
2023-02-05 18:31:08 +0000 UTCContinued pattern! I think a circle skirt/poodle skirt motif would look too late era for the rest of the bodice (‘40s/‘50s)
Anna Edwards
2023-02-05 18:31:01 +0000 UTCI'm leaning towards the little hearts because it's a bit sweeter. The circle skirt is adorable but a bit less charming imo

2023-02-05 18:30:59 +0000 UTCThat was supposed to be an exclamation point hahaha

2023-02-05 18:30:57 +0000 UTCI LOVE option B, but I do agree that option A could be used for more than just Valentine’s Day.
Caitlyn Taylor
2023-02-05 18:30:56 +0000 UTCI like both! But I definitely think the first option is on trend and vintage at the same time!!
Miriam Dean
2023-02-05 18:30:46 +0000 UTCMaybe with some heart pockets on the hips with cute stitching too??

2023-02-05 18:30:23 +0000 UTCThey're both heckin cute 💖 how about a reversible skirt with both? 😁

2023-02-05 18:30:14 +0000 UTCOption b looks a little more costume-y. A is super cute

Katy Beaumont
2023-02-05 18:29:55 +0000 UTCI'm gonna be That Guy here but...what if both? The accent curl with the repeating hearts...too much? 🤔
Ashley Bryner
2023-02-05 18:29:51 +0000 UTCThe heart pattern just feels a little more wearable to me, somehow?
