Livestream Questions/How's Everybody Feel About the New Thumbnails

On another note, I've thought about trying to do weekly plant id/taxonomy Livestream classes. What time is good for people? Sunday mornings? Weekdays after work?

I think the plant is sacred, and should be only harvested from truly people with the right intentions, and I will have nothing to do with 💰 money I love ur work and I am bromeliad junkie and I just got a carnivorous one and I also grow them from seed. And back to the I sent you some bromeliads and put some grandfather in there but I forgot to mention them. You ever see a beneficial, or sacred way to grab me some bromeliad seeds mostly the terrestrial are epiphytes, but not as in the Tilly family. And if anyone is out there taking peyote taking FU and do some research and find some seeds from someone who cares about the medicine... they are out there. 2023-07-31 01:24:33 +0000 UTCthere's no need to make it complicated, you already lets everybody know ahead of time through here. and he's already got a website. ... there's a Discord bot that can link a Google calendar to a Discord community channel, but he doesn't really need the bot, he can just post the calendar on the Patreon and be done with it, the Discord would be more for facilitating a better learning experience, because one of the issues I found was live streams is that by the time I type out a question or a comment, it's no longer on topic, whereas in a Discord voice chat, you can just ask or you can "raise a hand"

2023-07-29 19:38:33 +0000 UTChave you considered a Discord Community? you can take questions and have discussions live with us, via voice rather than text chat... might be a little more fluid experience that can still work in concert with a live stream...plus you can limit who can talk based on level of patreon membership (Discord membership role) if you want, so it wouldn't be a for all, and discord has a scheduled "Event" feature. It's been working out well for Deep Astronomy's Astro Hangouts on Thursdays... essentially it's just a group voice chat to discuss current astronomy news topics members submit between sessions... he used to livestream video as well, but he decided he wanted to be less formal. if you want to sit in on one to see what it's like, I can get you a link. I recommend hand-picking names to add to the role that is allowed to join via voice though. I've never hosted one myself, but I think you can also set it up to live-choose an individual to temporarily allow them to speak.

I didn't mind the pace. I'm also good with Sundays or evenings...whenever! I drop shit to watch you. Edit: After this morning, maybe consider doing classes? That might weed out the folks who don't have any serious interest in botany. I mean, I love to screw around as much as anyone, but you didn't seem to enjoy the chaos 😅
