I thought this was a very well-rounded episode. The longer the better for your patrons, I am sure. Consider cutting a more basic edit for each episode youtube. More work, but by the end, you should know exactly what to cut to make a more succinct version. Keep them long here though. I thought this was a fascinating episode!

so funny enough I'm staying at 1600 block 16th st. in Oakland at my buddies house (we are both from maine). He did all the footwork and permitting to get us a few days hiking around yosemite. I took pictures of all the tiny wildflowers I saw to try to figure out later. I literally can't look at a living plant anymore without my brain annotating in your goddamn accent. It's wonderful. Walking around oakland I saw quite a few spots you've looked at in previous episodes. Would love to meet up for coffee if you are around.

just wanted to put my money where my mouth is and say thank you for your content. I hopped onto patreon to financially say thank you Mr. Santore for helping make the turd of life a little easier to swallow. Ive been telling everyone I know who might give a shit to watch your content. Fantastic stuff and it's made me want to pay more attention to learning more about the plants and geology that ive been so enamored with but knew practically nothing about.

Thanks for the acknowledgement of adaptive plant life in a place many would consider barren and devoid. It’s sweet to see the subtle colors amongst a pale palette. Personally, I dig your reflections of the awful actions and impacts of degenerate humans within any given episode. The constant “reality checks” always puts things in a brutally honest perspective and makes a prick think (as well as exponentially amplifies the humor). This episode seemed a little extra salty, but maybe that’s just in context to thelocation you were in. Over time, I have found you are a tad more concise and to the point after you’ve had a proper morning coffee. I understand it may not be convenient or you’re trying to beat the heat of the day. But, ya, just an observation. Keep up the good work!!!

Allelic potentialities or heterogeneity? Look I’m happy with the episode as I can wile away time watching scenery and plants. But maybe I’m a minority. If so maybe let the content diversity dictate the program length. There was some repetition going on and I wouldn’t want you to end up like a doco on TV which are sooooo slow. It depends on your audience. If they’re mostly fucks like me it should be OK.
