I know Annie’s annuals when i see it! They should definitely send plants your way for free. I’ve been getting the fritillaries laying eggs all over my passionflower from Annie’s. And monarchs are loving the milkweed!

Ha ha, I have spent large amounts of my life working to eradicate several species of these beautiful plants- Passiflora tripartita var mollissima, Passiflora tripartita var azuayansis, Passiflora tarminiana, Passiflora pinnatistipula, Passiflora x rosea, Passiflora caerulea. Highly invasive in NZ, spread by people, rats, possums, pigs, and by rolling down gutters in rainstorms.

What a wonderful thing to do. I grew up in San Antonio, TX, and our backyard chain link fence was covered in passion flowers. I just planted some in the trellis in my backyard here in Sacramento let's see how they do. Good stuff.

Greetings from ballsweat, USA. We've got the corky stem passionvine, Passiflora suberosa here in Florida. It's a native, and the zebra longwings and gulf fritillaries really favor it as a host plant. If you're in the southern US, it's an excellent thing to plant if you want to help out the native insects.
