2023-11-02 16:32:33 +0000 UTCNice. I listened to Fulgrim recently after previously avoiding any of the HH not written by Abnett or Dembski-Bowden. I thought it was ok but a little derivative of Horus Rising. A lot of the plotlines and characters felt overly familiar in that sense. McNeill as a writer also has this weird tic of using the same word multiple times in the same sentence, which always reads as really jarring to my ears, but happens so often i start to wonder if its a deliberate stylistic choice. Interested to hear your guys thoughts.
