No Love for the Woods (Nude)

Sorry my hair looks crappy here :( I was on the hook with this self-proclaimed prolific hairstylist who supposedly wanted to do my hair for free (in exchange for photos and representation of his salon) which seemed like a great opportunity, but then he let months go by without scheduling with me to actually DO my hair. Anyone who dyes or lightens their hair knows this is a big no-no.

And then he kept trying to delay it further, citing fear of COVID-19 (meanwhile I'd been to his salon twice to listen to him talk about himself, and I knew he'd started working with some of the brunettes in our group.) Low-key, he just knew my hair would be a lot of work and thought he could make me wait until it was convenient for him. Now I'll never work with him! (Turns out, my model friend informed me that he's been blacklisted at modeling agencies because he's so rude and unprofessional. Delightful.)

Again, I drove out to his dumb empty Beverly Hills salon TWICE for meetings and testing and he still didn't put any work into my hair. I finally said fuck it, I'd rather pay to have my hair done on my schedule then continue to be dicked around by this moron. Fucking LA hairstylists swear they're the next fucking Picasso lol

Anyway, that's my latest drama. I went and got my hair done by someone brand new, and it might be my FAVORITE version yet. We tried a new technique to lighten my roots a few shades while refreshing my highlights and layers so now I have movement and brightness just as I like it! (And it was QUITE affordable.)
