/Canon AE-1 35mm Film camera
Added 2020-08-06 22:24:17 +0000 UTCI just picked up a film camera and a bunch of film to experiment with. Mostly black and white, and a few expired color film stocks. I booked a model for a nude and half nude series so that I could play around with different lighting for bodyscapes and portraits. I'm not really sure what to expect, since you don't have the luxury of seeing what you are shooting when using an analog camera, but i think its will be a fun experiment. If the first series goes well, then I will expand on it and shoot some more real film portraits. Also, since its film, I am leaning towards not doing any edits to the final scans and just uploading as is to keep it more real instead of the usual color grading and touch up I do with my digital work.
I am looking forward to this project :) I will keep everyone updated as I get closer to shooting.
