Added 2020-01-13 22:07:35 +0000 UTCThe beauty of the human body. This was the first set of the Adoration series. I wanted to capture how the bones create shadows in low light. We experimented with having the model suck in her stomach to create shapes that ended up being almost alien like. This was the start of the Adoration series, In which I met and worked with several anonymous models over the span of 4 years.
When we first released a few of the images, most people thought she was anorexic, and some felt it was a trigger. But that was never the intention of the series. It was always about creating bodyscapes as artwork. In fact, the model is actually quite healthy.
I am going to release a set each month. They all kind of blend together and are very similar, but I am very happy with the way they came out, and greatly appreciative for the many women to volunteered to be photographed.
Eventually, someday I hope to create an Art book with this series.
