Need help (Updated- got it thankyou!)

Update:  Thankyou for the quick replies! We were able to track this one down and get it resolved.  We have one more issue with the adhoc networking which we're working through now and then we'll re-release the beta, let everyone try that out and ensure we didn't introduce new issues/fixed the bugs, and then we'll work to promote that to release.  Thankyou to everyone for helping us get this figured out, for reporting it, for being so patient with us as we work through this, and for rooting us on as we work to get this all sorted.  Excited to get the release back out, but we're going to run some overnight tests first.  Should have a new beta immminenetly on the Patreon, and then watch here for the re-release!

ENDUPDATE--------------------------------

The team is having a heck of a time reproducing an issue reporting in the February build which involved a video/image hang on either startup, or after several hours of running.

Please post/comment or message me if you're hitting this.  The thing we're looking for is if anyone is hitting this on a pi4 or not.  We believe this may be related to a dtoverlay change we did.   So our qustions that will help us greatly in tracking down is:

1) Was this on a clean/fresh install of an SD card that you hit the hang?
2) Which version of raspberry pi did you hit this on?
3) One other data point...is it happening on the intro video or on other videos.

Thankyou so much for helping us track this down.  This is one of the major bugs holding up re-releasing February and we're working hard to track it down.

The long startup time and many of the DNS issues have been fixed.  We will release as a beta to get more feedback when we're ready, but we have to fix this first.

Just to share I noticed the problem existing even back in the December build. All of my MOV files would cause the rendering to stop working. With the info bar on I could see that the engine still was progressing to the next "image" but the black overlay of the video would never be removed/hidden from the problem of the MOV file. I'll create a feature request. I would like better troubleshooting tools. 1)a verbose level of logging to show these elements show/hiding would have helped. 2) UI button to reset or restart the UI app instead of a full reboot of the system. I too am looking forward to the next release. The thing that drew me to this was the ability to play videos. Note: MP4 work like a dream. Specs: Raspberry PI2B 1GB

Just saw the update above and glad the team was able to track down the issue. Look forward to the next release. RPI4 2GB - Built a playlist w/ qty. 8 .mov files exported from my Apple photos. Files range in size from 34MB to 285KB. Fresh boot and let it go on that playlist only. Dynaframe app crashed about 2 hours in and froze on the black Dynaframe screen. System required a reboot to get going again.
