October Beta announce and Demos!

Yay I can upload videos directly to Patreon now! It's like a private version of Geektoolkit: Dynaframe edition! I'm so excited for this. Above is a ten minute video demo of the features.

October beta and updates will be released over the next few weeks. It'll include:

1) Thumbnail views

2) Ability to delete or go 'directly to' an image

3) Perf improvements from the alpha

4) Plugins (pixabayplugin) in the store will install the pixabay plugin if you have the Alpha or later!

5) A new clock - Fully customizable, you can place it anywhere you want! It operates independantly of the infobar so if you want to have say exif data in the infobar and a clock at the top, you can!  This also is a preview of the engine we're building for overlays.

Note: Due to the performance of the pi, the 'editor' page which has the thumbnail list may take an hour or so before it loads reliably. We're working on figuring out how to improve that, but if you're running say 5000 images it just takes a bit to generate thumbnails of them all!

I also talk about the next features we're working on. We're hoping to get alot of support testing the beta to shake out any stability bugs and then finalize in November. We'll also branch off a new Alpha for November to work on the overlay work, as well as the wifi and 'first run' experience. 

Thanks a ton for all of the support! The bugs you've filed are being looked at closely now, and we hope many of them get fixed up soon with the overlay work.  When we do the final version for November we'll also list the full bug list of stuff we've fixed.  There's a ton of small fixes we've put in to improve fit and finish as well as some annoyances or bad states.  Small features like the 'all on' and 'all off' api that was requested are in as well.
