It's also lowkey crazy to think that two of the best Football animes in recent time both released this year with the other being called "Ao Ashi". It's like 2022 decided to be goated in terms of Football lmao. If Blue Lock takes more of a new take in the genre with the whole "Blue Lock 300 participants 1 survivor" idea, Ao Ashi is more believable/realistic of an anime and just does it better than most, it honestly feels like "Haikyuu" but make it football basically. It's a full 24 episode season too so it was prime binge material in case you wanna watch it off or on stream, either way highly recommend!
