For me, I think Smiley is leaps and bounds ahead but its such a hard act to follow - but this sound is something I'm so excited to see her build on! Can't wait for the next comeback! Smiley is to Sk8er Boi what Smartphone is to Girlfriend maybe? 👀 This release was super interesting for me, I’m still not sure how I would categorize it necessarily, but I do know that I enjoy it quite a lot.
