6 times more declines than average

thanks to Patreon team 'improving' payment process this month we've got 6 times more declined pledges then the half a year average. Even worth then previous month, and that one was really bad.
This is the info we have so far:
- American Express cards may not work to pledge to patreon based on what region you're in; if you use it and it isn't working anymore, then you'll need to use another card, OR link your card up with PayPal and then use PayPal to pay, using your card through PayPal as a middleman.
- Pre-paid cards don't work anymore either as a direct payment method; however, you might be able to link it through PayPal as above, but it's unlikely it'll work TBH, you will likely need to link a card that is linked to a bank account OR link a bank account directly to your paypal
I know it might sound stupid to ask you to do any of these steps if your pledge declined, but I guess I have no other choice. Seems like new Patreon policy is 'your patrons should REALLY like your project to find a way to support it here at Patreon'
From Wiki: Patreon (/ΛpeΙͺtriΙn/) is a membership platform that provides business tools for creators to run a subscription content service as well as ways for artists to build relationships and provide exclusive experiences to their subscribers, or "patrons."
So I guess patreon team decided that we, artists, do not provide you enough of exclusive experience and decided to add something from themselves.

2018-09-03 03:00:14 +0000 UTCI know this is process has been stressful for creators and patrons, but I rather go through this shitty process than have Patreon go through some sketchier channels putting my banking info at risk. I really am iffy on most fundme sites, so having a place with some serious backing and reputation guarding my info puts me at ease and makes donating to artists a lot easier for me. Im probably in the minority here and in all likelihood after this post I will have declining issues, but till then I think patience and persistence is all we can do.

2018-09-03 00:11:23 +0000 UTCi'm using a VISSA so i never have payments problem, the only "problem" for me is the time it takes to get the cash on the acount ( kuz this card only ever has money on it for a few minutes or hours, since i opened this account only for adult content so i never have to be worry about some1 stealing my shit since it never realy has cash on it :P) but other than that i hope that the rest of you will find a way to get payments trough, or better yet HOPE PATRTEON GET'S THERE SHIT TOGHETER

If there was another popular way i would go with it. Or maybe use patreon to tell YOUR (not patreons) current clients how to fund you elsewhere and what not.

I'm kinda try to stay calm (negative emotions and stress usually lower my production rates), but this is really annoying. I'm fine when support rate drops when I or my team fuck up the dates and we get what we get - because I see it like 'actions -> consequences'. But when the whole project is hit hard because of the guys, who's only work is to make a stable system - this is really crazy. Patreon don't help us in any way right now except of just processing your pledges for commission - zero help with advertising adult projects and even putting more restrictions on us instead of helping. The whole this situation is insane.

And it wouldn't surprise me much if the next step was to drop PayPal support for adult-themed projects. The only reason we remain with this people is because we can payout with Payoneer. If it wasn't for that...

Add my other bank account card payments go through just fine. I then decide to pick up a new pledge on my new card, and declined. Tried my first card again and it was approved. Both cards are bank accounts with the same fucking bank. I got nothing on this.
