and I'm trying with this another person last weeks - however it turns that I'm spending time on doing animations myself + teaching 'another person' - so it doesn't help much right now (But I'll keep trying!)

what do you mean with mystery variant?

If variants are becoming a struggle (or at least take up too much time), how about only having 1 "mystery" variant per scene? As in, a random variant exists for each scene. And you have to discover what that variant is. Personally, I would be fine with no variants but limiting the variant pool would help with time (and stress) management. Also, scene looks good to me.
