Each moving part is a set of poses that go frame-by-frame, so essentially it's a bunch of very small animations overlapping to give the impression of a large one. In this case there are four: the eyes, the hand, the tail, and the mouth. Most of the tail poses aren't actually used in this GIF. More frames mean a longer animation, so they were cut to make the swish go faster and be more appealing. Likewise, only 4 of the 6 mouth shapes are used. Technically I would need 5 to spell "K_A_L_M_E", but it turned out I could spell "K_L_M_E" and it looked better as a result. Not really sure why it happened that way, but there you go.
