It had been a lie when she said it. A knee-jerk reaction in an attempt to support a rather self concious sounding client.
That lie however, stuck in her mind long after the call was over. Would it be so crazy? Annie asked herself. She had a more money left from her paycheck than she'd first expected, and that staff discount she'd been told about would certainly help.
Trying and failing to remember the last time she actually treated herself to anything. Sure, so there was the mani/pedi last weekend, but she needed that after seeing her ex with somene new. she figured the car repair could probably wait another month or two.
