Also, the Jellal/Mystogan thing WILL make sense. The memory thing also makes sense because he was submerged in Etherion for a while after the Tower fell. And the name of the manga/anime is no coincidence. Mashima clearly pulls inspiration from fairy tales. Take Lucy and Natsu who fall into the dragon and the princess trope. A princess runs away from her kingdom, gets in trouble, is saved by a dragon and he takes her back to his hoard. Except in this case, the hoard isn’t a cave full of gold but a guild full of friends. ❤️

I think Mashima just gets bored drawing the same thing after a while. Love that moment where Lucy is clutching Natsu as they fall off the waterfall and then wake up in matching outfits. 😂
