They went in there with a plan and it worked. It was annoying to see that Fairy Tail fell for it as they did but they are a bunch that have a lot of emotion that they act on so I can see why it worked.

2022-02-03 21:44:12 +0000 UTCFreed’s enchantment wasn’t written to intentionally keep Natsu out, but it’s something worth remembering. And the answer won’t come until the final arc. Mashima is great at sprinkling small things in the story that will eventually tie together. Also, Mirajane can be a bit of a troll. She’s very sweet but sometimes just likes to fuck with people.
