Mate, Black Clover's story is written just so damn well. I always think I really appreciate how good it is and then I learn something else that just blows my mind!!

Lots of information, and also a good catch on that matter about Noelle's grandma telling her a story that was from the human perspective and to add to that, a royal's perspective. This is important to remember.
Now, one of the things that the last two arc cover. Remember the 3 Clovers stand for Faith, Hope, and Love. The last arc with Vetto, the theme to defeat him was Faith. Everyone placing their faith in each other to overcome one person.
This time around with this Arc, we see two important matters. 3 different forms of people being controlled for various reasons. Vanessa being controlled by the Queen for her own ends of "perfection" Ladros being controlled through the mage stones. Lastly Fana being controlled via the Third Eye that was place on her by Licht.
Each of these were defeated in some way by Love. Fana was defeated by the love of Mars. Ladros was defeated by Asta and the love of friendship that helped him and how they each build each other. While the Queen was defeated by the love of family. While the Queen also realizing that her quest perfection made her lose the love of her "daugher" who she remember was a happy child and even herself. Her obsession over perfection losing sight that imperfection is actually the only perfection that can be obtained.
Truly two phenomenal arcs, when you look and understand the themes behind each arc, as well as how each one was defeated. Now, there is only leaf left, Hope to explore.
