Makes a lot of sense. I'm glad that wasn't the end of Ladros as his character was strangely really fun to watch haha

Thanks for explaining all that dude, makes so much sense.
Absolutely loved this episode and that animation in their encounter was so damn good. I really appreciate that they took that route when adapting it.

Oh, also when it comes to Ladros, we see the important matter concerning those mage stones. They basically are a form of control and brainwashing that takes place on the person they were inserted onto, changing even personality. We saw this first with Mars, and though his stones weren't destroyed, we saw him regain his memories of what took place and he broke through the manipulation and brain washing done to him.

First the man, the myth, and the legend has arrived on the scene, the "Demon". I won't say more than that :). Second, a few matters to unpack here. Asta wasn't taking over by the demon, that is what that little scene and encounter we saw between the demon and Asta. Asta won that fight. Second though, as the Queen explained, the Anti Magic flows from the sword, which is attached to the grimoire, so the anti-magic itself is flowing from the Grimoire, and thus the demon.
All the Queen did was intensify the flow of Anti Magic from the Grimoire into Asta himself. Asta is not conscious of this, so this is why it appears as though the "demon" took over Asta. Yet, Asta was still himself as we saw, the Demon not taking over Asta's conscious, but Asta receiving some of the Demon's power due to increase flow of Anti Magic that was entering into his body due to the Queen's manipulation of that power.
Glad you also enjoyed the different Art Style and animation that was the result of that. This episode is a divisive episode among the community, some love the two different art styles that were used and the resulting animation of the two styles, while others just straight up hate it and complain.
