Exciting Updates!
Added 2025-05-10 06:21:07 +0000 UTCThose of you on my Discord server in the Patreon channel are already familiar with what I've been working on, but I figured I'd keep you all in the loop here as well!
I've been dipping my toes into 3D character modeling and have modded a base I purchased from Ghostly Shark Studio into Luke! I've modified it pretty unrecognizably from the original, but I'm not very good at modeling stuff like the mouth, eyes, feet, and hands, so it was really helpful to have those ready to work with. I've attached a comparison pic to the original base (with my plantigrade edit). Great mesh to work with as a starting base by the way, a lot of other avatars really aren't for one reason or another, so props to Ghostly!
Luke's model here still has some work left to do, such as better texturing and fixing some rigging issues, but he's mostly done now otherwise!
I've also attached some environment tests I made using Geo Scatter and a few other assets and plugins as I work on my 3D exterior and interior environment design skills in Blender.
Huge thanks to June and Hutska for helping me out along the way with some of Blender's more technical aspects since I'm a Maya boy.
