Spamalot deserves a listen, at least the cast album! It's not just recycled bits, Eric Idle wrote several new songs and rebuilt the story so the musical stands on its own. Someone who hadn't seen the movie would enjoy it. A great way to experience Gilda Radner is the Gilda Live! movie of her Broadway show. It's streaming on Apple and Amazon. There needs to be a name for music parodies where the soundtrack is good enough to listen in regular rotation. Spinal Tap, Walk Hard, Fear of a Black Hat, Mighty Wind.
