Well we're going back to a couple acts whose fault this all basically was, so which song lit it up harder at the stadium festivals in 2013, Avicii's "Wake Me Up" or Swedish House Mafia's "Don't You Worry Child"!

2025-04-12 22:47:45 +0000 UTCJust as I would argue that Machinehead is a defensible song because it manages to sound obnoxious in all the ways an angsty middle schooler is, Wake Me Up perfectly captures everything terrible about being an angsty early 20-something. And for that it comes back around to being oddly beautiful for me.
