Process - Forced Promise - Enemies & Lovers

A while ago I asked for your input on what pieces of mine you’d like process/speedpaint posts on. Many of you requested my Enemies & Lovers work but, unfortunately, due to Great IPad Crash of May 2024 ™ all but 2 of those speedpaints were erased. (Along with plenty of other content r.i.p.)
The good news is the sketch/flat color phases etc. were preserved because I sent them to Holly Black! So along with the 2 speedpaints, I have plenty of Step-by-Step process content to post.
So I’m kicking it off with the most highly requested “Forced Promise” Jude and Cardan Illustration! + some notes on composition. Enjoy! ;)

I love this! Played the game yesterday with my husband and it’s so great. He thought I have a horrible Pokerface because I was grinning every time I got a good card. In reality I was just so happy, about how pretty the Cards are.
