Coding Adventure: Simulating an Ecosystem

Hello! I've recently been playing around with foxes and rabbits in a simple little ecosystem. The rabbits munch on the plants, and the foxes, naturally, on the rabbits. The idea was to give the rabbits different traits, and then see how those changed over time to adapt to the environment.

I know it's been quite a while since I last made an actual tutorial -- I've been so caught up in these 'coding adventures'. I hope you've been enjoying the content nonetheless, but I'll try make some more tutorials in the near future :)

Thanks, as always, for all your support!

Any chance to get it combined with ML-agents ? That would be so cool !!!

Was brought to this video via Primer. Excellent development & video! Wish you could play around with it more to see more interesting evolution & biology concepts in action.

Hey Jonatan, the project is truly in quite a mess, but if you want to take a look you can get the files here: https://www.dropbox.com/s/oqgv7otwwmjnwwa/Ecosystem%20Old.zip?dl=1 Thanks for the support! :)

Hi Sebastian, Just became subscriber because I'm really interested in the sourcecode for this one. Said it would be on your github in the youtube-video. But I only find the second version. Do you still have the first version anywhere? Thanks! :D /Jonatan

I would love to see the source code I got a similar project that I am trying to create.

Any word on source code for this one? I'm really looking forward to it! ;o; This has a lot of stuff I'd really like to work with and it's difficult to find tutorials catering to this sort of thing so this is even better.

I'd love to see the source to this one as well. It would be a cool one to play with.

Really enjoyed this one. Became a patreon to say: take my money and keep up the awesome content :) Also, can't wait for the code :)

Not a patreon, but if the source code is not feasible, how you did certain parts of it in a tutorial would be appreciated Such as world generation and that cool animation, movement. Also you seem to have a way to do cool things, like the overall look and feel, the trees' popping in, That would be cool to know how you get those amazing shots!

I really love this video, but coukd you please please post the source code, i really wanna play with this and build onto this
