Added 2016-07-14 07:22:08 +0000 UTCHi everyone, sorry for this update arriving rather late...
In June I released 5 videos: 3 episodes of the Introduction to Game Development series, a Procedural Landmass episode, and, after more than a year, an update to the 2D platformer series.
Progress has been a bit slow of late, due to elusive bugs in both the platformer and 3rd person controller projects stealing a lot of my time. I have, however, started recording a new Blender character creation series for relative beginners to the software. The character, once complete, will be imported into Unity and set up with the mecanim system. The character will then be available to be used in other series, such as the 3rd person controller series.
Thank you all so much for the support.
Cheers,
Sebastian

Excellent work Seb, you're amassing a solid collection of tutorials and your pace and style are exactly what I look for in video tutorials.
2016-07-17 10:07:57 +0000 UTCThanks for the update, Seb. I got a lot of value out of your standalone ep on object pooling. Having the bare bones to show it off (instead of inserting it amongst a sea of existing code) made it really easy to digest and also gives a project I can go back to later to reference when I need to do it again. On a similar vein, I'd love to see an ep on camera shake (which could be standalone, or even in the 2D platformer series). Keep up the great work, dude!

2016-07-14 22:48:12 +0000 UTCwhilst it does sound great and all knowledge is good to have, Seb states it will be for "relative beginners" to Blender. Having personally not used it at all i hope i would be able to follow or some link could be given to follow before the video
