Both verses reference specific "bro-country" songs. Is also kind of commentary on the genre as a whole and its tendency to trivialize the girl in the song to a side character or an accessory. For Example -- Thomas Rhett : Get Me Some of That Chris Young : Aw Naw Tyler Farr: Redneck Crazy Jason Aldean gets THREE, because he does this A Lot: My Kinda Party, Dirt Road Anthem, & Take A Little Ride Blake Shelton: Boys 'Round Here Luke Bryan: (Country Girl) Shake it for Me Loved seeing your reaction to it! 2025-02-09 00:54:55 +0000 UTCSo glad you loved the Blu Eyes song, you should really check out her ep of the same name - on camera pls, I can usually tell when you hit the point in the song when that “oh shit, I have been perceived” moment happens. That moment is always a little scary for me, cause at first you feel like you’re tracing your fingers (or nails) over scars in various stages of healing, but then I always feel a little bit lighter, because I know that someone else somewhere in this crazy world has felt exactly how I feel. This might sound crazy, but when I listen to Blu Eye’s music (and it’s very similar with Taylor when I’m dealing with heartbreak) it’s like I’m outside the party crying on porch, and it’s just me and my sadness and the darkness, but then someone else opens the door and takes the seat beside me, and suddenly I don’t have to sit in my suffering on my own anymore, even if it’s just for the 3 minutes the song plays. It’s like I can breathe just a tad bit deeper.

The band is made up of three brothers from New York: Adam, Jack, and Ryan hence the name AJR. Fun fact, they always stand in order because Jack is the lead vocalist (and youngest brother) and is always in the middle and then Ryan is their producer (they produce all of their own music on their own) and he's on the left and then Adam is on the right (he's the oldest). I know it's flipped for the audience but from their POV they stand in AJR order from left to right. Please react to more of their music videos like Bang!, Burn the House Down, Way Less Sad, and 100 Bad Days!

And the whole time I was thinking "just wait until you see Taehyung" can't believe it took you this long to be introduced to taechwita 😂 And same with fri(end)s, I was expecting it to be requested after it's release, but I'm so glad you got to it anyway. I just love this song so much, been obsessed with it since it was released, one of my favorite Tae's song for sure. And we can always count on him to deliver the best music videos, they're always so good. Man, this Hobi performance! Everytime I see him on stage just proves that he was born for this. The armys there were so amazing, I got chills when mic drop started and everyone was screaming BTS' fanchant, and at every opportunity they were cheering "J-HOPE". It was amazing to experience it even tho I wasn't there. The timeline on Twitter looking for links, everyone freaking out when he appeared, it was so much fun! And finally this Run Jin episode that I already lost count of how many times I watched 😂 BTS with kids and with animals are my weakness, I melt in a puddle of love. Run Jin is in the same vibe of Run BTS, when Hobi was discharged, Seokjin did 2 episodes with him, super worth watching. And this episode with Taeha is my favorite. Loved this months request 💜

When my husband and I started dating in 1996, he kept a bin of loose cassettes in his Subaru Brat. It took forty-five minutes or so to get to the nearest movie theater, so we were in the car a lot! "Message in a Box," the Police box set, was something we listened to over and over. If you ever watch Yellowjackets, there are some very specific 90's requests I would like to send to you. The series has a great soundtrack, and I think it would be fun to dive into those songs. Thank you, sir!

He was so amazing, his performance was insane and there were sooo many ARMYs in the crowd 💜 French and European ARMY really showed up and showed out for him! Travelling a full day just for 10 mins of Hobi live onstage was completely worth it so I cant imagine how ridiculously good his concerts are going to be!! And yes, BTS and all the members are HUGE globally and in Europe lol, I mean they sold out multiple shows in Wembley and Stade de France back in 2019 (which was the last time they were in Europe) so I was not surprised by the huge amount of ARMY that showed up for this concert 😋

It's so smooth and really pleasing to the eye (and not just for shallow reasons.) I can't believe Fri(end)s wasn't requested before either! It must have gotten lost in a whole bunch of the surprise releases that BTS left for us this past year. Thanks to VERY KIND friends who bought me a ticket, I'm going to be able to see j-hope in Oakland. So, likely not the show you go to, because I know you don't like to fly haha. I'll be sleeping on an air-mattress in a friend's garage for a couple days while I'm in town for the show, but it'll be worth it. I'm very excited. While I was watching this video, I was actually working on a Jack in the Box colour-themed scarf to wear in windy northern California spring... so, yes, very much full of anticipation.

Just watched all the BTS related ones and I can’t believe Fri(end)s wasn’t requested before, but they keep getting content out and I think maybe this one came out while something else was crossing timelines so it could be the reason this one got delayed. The entire Soowoozoo Festa concert (where they performed Chicken noodle soup, and Daechwita) is sooo good! They were 2 days of performances and one of the days had CNS, and the other day had Daechwita. If you want to watch it either on reaction or by yourself, I highly recommend any of the days, they were so much fun. Hobi killed it in Paris, and every Army there gave their all too! Sadly I couldn’t get tickets because there were only 2 dates for Mexico (as in the entire country) so it was a perfect representation of The hunger game here 😭😭😭 Reselling is through the rooftop so that’s a no. I still haven’t lost hope (heh) maybe there are giveaways or something 🤞🏼 Run Jin is filling the void Run BTS left. There’s a double episode with Hobi as a guest too, it’s hilarious. Gotta catchup with several of the other requests tomorrow. BTW this video is loooong, mad respect for the amount of time and love you put in all of these. I can’t imagine how much time it took to edit and render it!

Of course, I'll start with Carrie. So ... yeah, I know absolutely nothing about David Disbal and a little of Latin music, and only paid attention to the song because of Carrie. 😂 And yes, it shocked a lot of people when she sang a verse in Spanish. No one saw that coming. Your reaction to that verse is the reason I requested this song. I wanted to see an open-mouthed, shocked expression, and I got it. So thank you. 😂 I also requested it because in one of my earlier requests, you asked if Carrie ever did collabs outside of country (I think) and was like, "I got one!" So, here it is. Can't wait for next month! So, the Miley & Ariana request. I love the way they sing that song. I've always wished they recorded it and had it for streaming or sale. They also performed the song for the One Love Manchester benefit concert, and I absolutely LOVE that performance. You should check it out if you haven't already. Yes, Maddie & Tae were a part of the "Women of Country" medley that Carrie Underwood did for the CMT Artists of the Year that I requested a few months ago. I've never heard of this song before, and I love it!! Thanks to who requested it! I'm going to have to add it to my already very long playlist of songs. Finally, Step Up! I love that you reacted to the "final dance." I've been a huge fan of those movies since the first one came out with Channing Tatum and Jenna Dewan. There are actually now five movies (apparently a sixth one, but I've never heard of it or seen it), and all of them are good in their own way! I would love to see you react to all of them. I haven't watched them in so long and it would be fun watching them with you.

I don't have them in my everyday playlist 'cause their music is quite different from what I usually listen to, but whenever I crave them or just stumble upon a song of theirs somewhere, I can't help but go and listen to their whole discography, sometimes even two or three times to get a proper dose of Third's voice 😂 and the production slays every time too. They actually don't have that much stuff out. Not all of their music - especially early work - is on streaming platforms, and they do take their precious time while making these masterpieces, so apart from a bunch of singles and collaborations they only really have 2 full length albums (third one is apparently on the way). Which is a shame, but at the same time it makes me appreciate all their releases that much more. Also, didn't expect Step Up to be in custom requests but I'm here for it! I grew up on those movies. The first one is a classic, can't wait to watch it again with you! I feel like the dances get progressively crazier with each movie (crazier in a good way), the 4th one has some of my all time favorites. It would be nice if you watched them all 'cause a lot of the characters' storylines continue in them, but we'll see how it goes haha. Glad to see you back!

I kind of think it's to fans as well, because it's been so long and some may have left to support other artists. Who knows? I told you that Jiyong (G-Dragon) was born 8-18-88 and those numbers are in everything he does, right? His third solo album releases 2-25-25 (2 + 2 + 5 + 2 + 5 = 18). He just announced his first world tour in what? 88 months. His album tracklist consists of 8 songs. His new television show (airing on Disney+) has 8 episodes. The word 'power' is repeated 8 times in the first and second parts of the song. The song "Power" is 2 minutes and 24 seconds long. Guess what 2 + 2 + 4 =? 😂 'Home Sweet Home' is 3 minutes and 32 seconds long. Guess what 3 + 3 + 2 =? 😂😂 T.O.P went viral for his role in Squid Games 2 (he's grown by 4ish million followers on instagram since the show aired which is WILD). He played the character of Thanos and admitted in his first interview in over 11 years that he left BIGBANG because he thought he would bring shame to the other members (he had mary jane scandal which is a huge no-no in SK) and that he loves them, watched the same MAMA performance that you did and thinks they're so cool -- and that they don't talk anymore :( Since T.O.P's interview about this, all the current members of BIGBANG have painted their nails to match (with subtle variations) what T.O.P's nails were in squid games. We fans are surviving on these crumbs and are now buying pants at delululemon and hope it means that they can talk T.O.P into returning.

I love country music but those snap tracks in the 2010 era was hard. , and I feel that present country is making its way back to the roots. From what I read, she doesn't really describe it in lyrics on the album, but it's more so her describing the different situations where she felt the 'eusexua' feeling. When I listened, I felt euphoric, but also like an out-of-body type of experience. Being present, love and connection are also all things that I felt so it really can be interpreted in so many ways! Glad you enjoyed it. I would love to see you listen to the album obviously but gauge the interest of what everyone else thinks cause I know it's not everyones cup of tea. When making the album she was inspired by the euro late-night club scene and the feelings that it gave her while she was there. :)

I write romance books. I meet people and I come up with stories of there forever in the first few moments of knowing them. When I hear break up songs, sometimes I remember my previous break ups but for the most part, I dream up of romantic short stories about that relationship I just learned about, it's my fun little habbit.
