What is Texture Analyser?
Texture Analyser is a plugin for Mod Organizer 2 that scans through your installed mods to evaluate the textures used by the game. It gathers crucial details such as the resolution, file format, and file size of each texture, helping you identify those that may be unnecessarily large or inefficient.
The plugin then compares these properties against recommended performance thresholds, highlighting textures that might slow down load times or strain system resources. In addition, Texture Analyser generates detailed, user-friendly reports—often with visual graphs or tables—that allow you to easily spot and prioritize textures for optimization.
It also provides suggestions for adjustments, such as reducing resolution or converting to more efficient formats, to enhance overall game performance without significantly compromising visual quality.
How to Install?
Download the file, and simply extract in mo2/plugins folder. To initialise, open Texture Analyser in the programs icon of mo2. You can also switch language to french by heading to mo2 settings, plugins tab.
