Concerns over file size
Added 2023-09-13 20:51:37 +0000 UTCAs you are probably aware, all my looks are 200MB+ in size, and that raises my concern about people's PC storage. I like to use high-resolution textures for my looks because I want my model to really stand out and look nice, and that means a bigger file size.
There are a few ways to limit the size. First, all my looks come with a nice background asset that makes them look good in screenshots. If I don't include a background asset, the average file size will decrease by about 20-30MB. Second, the effect of the gloss texture on some looks can be negligible. If I remove it, I can also decrease the file size by 10-20MB.
What do you think?
