D ko sure yung process nila. Meron siguro yan mga entities na inuutusan para bumili in their part. Not sure.

TheCheap Gamer

Ask ko lang paano ang mga insider nakakabili ng stocks worth millions of pesos like the SCC, DMC insiders at a certain stock price? Same din ba ang pagbili nila sa mga katulad natin na retail investor? Thank you.."

ApaChin

Try ko bukas sir. Thank you

Gilmiester Siores

Ang simple computation Kasi niyan is (Total Assets-Total Liabilities)/shares outstanding. Iba pa Yung formula kapag may prefered shares Yung company. Pwede mo google.

TheCheap Gamer

Sir ginawa ko narin, sorry hindi ko parin mahanap yung book value per shahre niya na 246.46 sa 2013 ang kumplikado pala. Na select ko naman yung 2013 pdf siya nandoon lahat pero yung book value di ko talaga mahanap

Gilmiester Siores

Investing is all about buying consistently and buying the dip on good companies/businesses. To do that, I need some cashflows. REITs can give me that every quarter since they are required to pay dividends. I also PESO Cost Ave on REITs since I dont do valuation analysis on them.

TheCheap Gamer

Hello Sir, I might have missed it on your videos, but can you please briefly share why you're using Peso Cost Averaging for REITs? Thank you.

Erly

Its a mehhh.... I am not really excited or interested about stock dividends. What I don't like is AUB not increasing their cash dividend rate despite record breaking performance.

TheCheap Gamer

Sir, any thoughts about the news regarding the declaration of stock dividends by AUB subject to approval of stockholders and PSE? Thanks.

GEE

Makes sense, especially the second point. Thank you very much po for your insights!!!

Erly

Holding companies doesn't own 100% of their subs. You may want to look at their shareholding structures. 2nd, contrary to what you have said, It's the holding companies that will mostly always trade at a discount because there's a lot of moving parts or subsidiaries on a holding company that can impact future growth assumptions used in valuations. 3rd, a growing company that's currently under appreciated by the market doesn't mean it's already a value trap. The stock market is a weighing machine in the long term. If I see a company with good fundamentals and still growing and undervalued based on my valuation, then I'm going to buy the Freaking Dip.

TheCheap Gamer

Like meralco po which has higher market cap than mpi, and fgen's higher than fph. Na I think if we considered the full value of these subs, the holding companies should be valued higher than the subs. Pero it's not reflected in the holding companies' market price. Nahihirapan pong mag exit tuloy kasi flat ang market price, hindi nag i-increase as expected for long periods of time. Kakastart ko lang po mag aral2x sa long-term investing, so pasensya na po if medyo bobo ang datingan hehe.

Erly

Depends on your definition what a value trap is.

TheCheap Gamer

I plan to do further research on this, but in your personal opinion, is cosco a value trap like mpi and meralco, fph and fgen?

Erly

I have COSCO because I think it's more undervalued.

TheCheap Gamer

COSCO or PGOLD?

Erly

Not aware with the one. How much is the management fee?

TheCheap Gamer

sir regarding sa Manulife REIT Fund maganda ba yan as parang basket or index na ng mga reits or lugi pa din kasi may management fee? thanks po

Carlo

Personally, I will transition LTG from Accumulating to Holding. Will monitor Q2 and see if PNB and other subsidiaries will pick up to drive growth. About the dividend cover in my stock analysis, I think LTG can cover dividends. May Bank Kasi sa holdings Ng LTG and Ang nangyayari is that Hindi ganun ka consistent Ang cash flows kapag may Bank sa Isang holding company. Mas okay Silang tignan kapag around 3rd or 4th quarter na.

TheCheap Gamer

Wondering po what's your personal take on accumulating more LTG stock given their recent decline in tobacco sales and their poor dividend cover this Q1. Would you personally still accumulate given na undervalued pa rin considering YoY growth? Or would you prioritize accumulating other holding stocks instead? Thanks po

Nigel F

The stock market can be more volatile specially those overvalued stocks or companies with trash fundamentals. Yun kasi target ng short sellers. The worst are the activists investors, kapag nag open sila ng short position on a certain stock and then bombahin nila ng bad news or articles yung company. Personally, I wont participate in short selling as its a waste of capital allocation.

TheCheap Gamer

I also like ICT. Currently I have a small position on the stock. Will increase it if the business grows further. I think still undervalued.

TheCheap Gamer

SEC approves short selling sa PH stock market.... ano po magiging positive and negative effects sa atin na mga retailers/traders/long term investors? thank you po

Carlo

ICTSI is massively investing in the Philippines port expansion and also abroad...will it be a good stock to position?
