A very emotional episode for me. Wizard of Oz is my favorite movie, probably have watched it at least once a year since I was a kid. Was prepared to hate Wicked (I thought, ugh, don't mess with my source material, sometimes people are just pure evil with no reason, and we need them to be), but I did read the book when it first came out, saw the play, too, and I loved them both. Seeing Wicked for Christmas. Thank you gents for giving Emeraude love, too. It's the only perfume I ever bought my mom. She didn't like it, but she wore it because she loved me.

Upon release at the Cannon Cinema, Monkseaton, Tyneside, I enjoyed box office flop, Return to Oz. Rewatching almost 40 years later is great, a much-underrated film. I agree with Jack (Mason, not Pumpkinhead); it is somewhat exhausting, and this adds to the experience; it is truly like an unsettling dream, mostly about a chicken. And, I find Fairuza Balk an even more compelling Dorothy than Judy Garland.

Blair Witch, Brokeback Mountain and now Wizard of Oz. John is a legend.
Rewatched Wizard of Oz two nights ago as I was about halfway through listening and it’s hands down one of the best films of all time. Beautiful, scary, nostalgic, timeless. Gonna queue up Lynch/Oz and give that a go.
