Belly laughed for a good minute with the introduction to β€œpremiere biologist of our time” and then the clip of Brett Weinstein mooing and oinking for his ad read πŸ˜‚πŸ‘Œ

Destiny does some good work, but I find myself incapable of not copying his terrible interpersonal behaviour, similarly, since I've started watching DtG I've started vaping, thanks Matt.

Jack

I used to be a Destiny hater until I… you know.. watched alot of his debates. He’s excellent. DTG are destiny on Valium.

Joe and Brett, gosh it doesn't get much more ridiculous and dishonest.

Tim Tripp

13 mins in: Can I ask who β€˜We’ are who Brett says β€˜can detect’ the badness of vaccines?

Sean Power

Rogan and Brett’s use of β€œthey” to describe the other side is so conspiratorial. Referring to the Democratic Party as they makes it sound like it’s a monolithic institution rather than a political party made up of people with different, often competing, wants. And then the β€œthey” becomes not just the Democratic Party but also the news media, the bureaucracy, health providers, and educators. It’s so frustrating to see cognitives biases on full display.

Linda Sears

Thank you, Editor Andy, for inserting Moo oink into the video!

To a greater or lesser degree it’s quite sad when people double down on imagination as a crutch to support their beliefs. It’s pure ego defence. They need to enter into a discourse that might not be a semblance. They seem stuck on repeat to me. As if they are all saying β€˜please refuse me my offering, because this is not it.’ So it turns into a never ending game of substitution of one concept or other that captures their imagination that fails to address fully what β€˜it’ is. Displeasure at perceived obligations, social conventions and prohibitions seems central. They want to be seen as if they are clarifying all uncertainty and that the world should simply be as they say it is. To hell with the methods, isn’t it so great that they’ve found the formula to monetise never ending debate?!
