Matt and Chris to meet up in Japan

Thought you might enjoy some behind-the-scenes news that Matt and I will be meeting up for the first time in person next week. Matt is over for a family trip to Japan and we are planning to meet up a couple of times during his visit and yes, we will do some form of recording.
That's part of why I am posting this note! As we are curious about what you, the dear DTG supporters, would like to hear? Do you have any burning questions you would like us to address? Should we do an open livestream?
We are planning to go out for a few drinks at some izakaya/bars so we will probably record something when out and about... we even bought some special wireless lapel mics! You will just have to endure a drop in the usual 'flawless' sound quality you have come to associate us with ;) ... although, actually the lapel mic might keep Matt's distance more consistent.
In any case, let us know your thoughts. I'm concerned about how tall Matt is in person and how we will use that to loom physically over me, in addition to his usual intellectual looming. Worrying times indeed.

Chris and Matt film themselves sitting on the couch together watching a guru video - one they haven't pre-watched this time. Perhaps a recording of one of Jordan Peterson's live shows. They can pause to discuss as needed. The DTG patreon audience gets to watch their spontaneous responses to the unfolding guru-ness. Hilarity, or at least mid-wittery, ensues ;)

I noticed that Sam Harris mentioned this very early when he came on for rebuttal, I respect and share most of his positions but so many gurus just lack the awareness to be able to see they are caricatures of themselves when overreacting to being challenged even on minor things. Also please drink a nice shochu for me 🍻
