Interview with Coffeezilla *UNEDITED* (audio)
Added 2022-12-14 14:50:25 +0000 UTCThe audio version of our interview with the YouTube investigator and all round nice chap Coffeezilla (with maybe better levels?)
We talk SBF, crypto scams, NFTs and influencer/guru dynamics.
Very enjoyable for us, hope you like it too!

This was great, I'm glad a lot of interesting ground was covered as several hosts have had Coffee on to rehash the SBF saga at depth

2022-12-14 23:35:58 +0000 UTCActually continued the conversation on distortions of analytics and whatnot afterwards and I think I made my point better. We are more than content with our audience and engagement, and motivation for us comes primarily from intellectual interest and enjoyment. We are human so can’t totally ignore downloads and whatnot but it basically doesn’t motivate us beyond reminding us of our release schedule!

2022-12-14 22:42:37 +0000 UTCYeah I expressed that badly Paul and I agree! I didn’t mean to imply more comments = better and it is only natural that people comment more on things they disagree with. I was also thinking mostly of the contrast in the subreddit with Jamie and Manvir but again it is due to what you said! Manvir was very insightful so what’s to be said?

2022-12-14 22:37:56 +0000 UTCComments =/= engagement, they = controversy. I loved the manvir episode, but what was disagreeable enough to comment on? I think a lot of us are commonwealth or worse British and are only going to comment when you're wrong. Like about how manvir episode was very enjoyable for me which is clearly what matters. 😂 Fuck the metrics and analytics, I'm judging gurupod mostly on release schedule 🧑⚖️😯
