A 'bonus' discussion of recent business on Twitter and with Elon Musk.
We thought this would be good to do so we don't have to mention it again and we can avoid a lengthy intro on the Elon episode.
Hopefully of some relevance to people who do not use Twitter but no promises. Also sorry about the weird letterboxing. No idea why Zoom did that this time.

Maybe this is dumb- but I think Twitter needs a viral grassroots movement where all inclined people vow to delete their accounts on a particular day. Maybe if only to give Musk a second's pause if nothing else.

I don’t have Twitter and haven’t for years mostly because I don’t like the format, the self discipline it takes to not waste endless hours, the tone of exchange etc. I do occasional web searches for tweets I admit. But there is a limit to how much I can see and scroll. Now it’s even less attractive to me given the ownership change over. The problem with Mastodon is that no one is there posting! So why not just double up your tweet posts on Mastodon and those of us without Twitter can follow your thoughts. Maybe getting in early would be smart if Mastodon grows over time.
