Update on the Bonus RSS Feed

Thought I would explain what has happened with the Galaxy Brain feed which has not been updated in a couple of months.

Originally we intended this to be THE feed for bonus content, where we could post things like Decoding Academia and release content earlier than on the main feed.

Unfortunately, our neuroticism meant that we didn't feel comfortable dumping raw content onto the feed, and so we ended up editing quite a bit. All of the content that is on there to date has been edited. This inevitably was time consuming and  became a lower priority when we switched to just releasing all the bonus content/interviews as soon as we recorded on Patreon in audio & video format. 

However, I know from my own Patreon subscriptions that it is much more convenient for content to be piped into an RSS feed (for a whole host of reasons). I (Chris) had hoped to get the feed up to date last month and then just make it part of the release workflow. But that proved too optimistic and it would have made our release schedule for new content even more delayed.

So my new, slightly less ambitious, plan is to simply fight my neurotic impulses and release the unedited audio files both on here and on the RSS feed. This means things like intro/outro music will not be there and technical issues will be present (plus there will not be show notes) but... it will also mean that you can more easily access the bonus content that appears on here.

In any case, I'm sorry for the delay in getting the feed updated. It is still a rag tag outfit here with Matt and I administering things and editing so we appreciate your patience! I'll also try to back fill the missing content in the RSS feed so that it's accessible in the same place but it might take some time to get it all uploaded.
