The Big Update, and Official Monthly Update

Well, the end of June and beginning of July have been kind of messed up. I apologize for lack of updates. There have been a few things going on. I have some cool art coming up for Dragon Estate 3 that I plan to share.

At some point in June, Amazon decided to enforce a new question during the publishing process.

The question is this: "Does this book contain language, situations, or images inappropriate for children under 18 years of age? Example: Sexually explicit content or other explicit scenarios."

I struggled with this question at first, not because of the sexual content in my novels, but mainly the violence, language, or situations. Does this mean I have to write purely G-rated material with zero conflict or violence?

That rules out a lot of stuff. Unfortunately, if I don't answer this question, I am unable to publish - the process stops if you ignore the question. There's no advancing. So, if I do answer the question, I can't lie. If someone says the word "fuck", or there is a description of blood, or a zombie, or a monster, or a fist fight, I probably have to answer "yes".

If this were purely sexual, it would be less of a problem, but the vague language kind of makes it difficult.

So, in order to honor this question and Amazon's ToS, I have to make some changes to my writing. You may not notice any of them, honestly. Going forward, I will be writing more fade-to-black scenes.

I still want to write erotic scenes, and my solution to that is pretty simple: write a series that's classified as erotic. So, the FTB material is published as non-erotica, and the on-screen sexual material is published as erotica.

For now, that's my only solution.

Moving on.

Aftermath Falls 3 is complete, and with it, all of Aftermath Falls! I'll be packing a trilogy together sometime this week. Expect an Audiobook for each sometime in the future.

I'm working on Dragon Estate 3 right now and the rewrite of Daemonica. I'll reveal the title eventually.

I haven't figured out of the Daemonica rewrite will be FTB sex or on-screen yet. What are your thoughts?

I am also rewriting Arcane Desires, but this will be purely erotica. I'm excited to publish this one.
