That's a false positive currently affecting a punch of Ren'Py games. This issue only started appearing after the latest Windows Defender update yesterday. Seems this detection is based on Microsoft Defender’s machine learning heuristic system, which means it doesn't identify a known virus, but instead flags files that might look suspicious based on behavior patterns or structure. Ren'Py-based and unsigned indie games are especially prone to false positives. Since this is a machine learning-based false positive, it will likely resolve on its own in a few days, once Microsoft’s systems update their heuristics again.
