Added 2020-04-04 18:02:49 +0000 UTCI already made a video using graffiti as a symbol in Albania, but I wanted to try again in Uruguay. Because this was a thing that happened to me that felt symbolic, and in turn a nice way to switch over to our series in Uruguay.
Uruguay could have been a huge hassle for us. But meeting Nico made it easy. Trusting people, respecting them, and having them be truly willing to help in return, is what makes this series happen no matter where I am. And because of that I wanted to make a little philosophical look at what it is we're trying to do with Rare Earth. Sort of an update to "the people who hate us". The people who love us.
I think we're trying to make graffiti. And I think it takes looking at an like Jaen artist to remember why.
Thanks to everyone for letting me into their houses, so I could come out with stories of those inside.

2020-04-06 19:24:39 +0000 UTCJust so you know, Uruguay is pronounced with the last syllable being uay as in eye not uay as in hay. Paraguay the same. I don't mean to be picky and I won't think any less of you you for ignoring me entirely but I find most peoples pronunciation a bit grating. Uruguay means river of birds in Guarani. Or so I've been told. Good show by the way, I've always loved your stuff.
