The Gods of the Oasis

It was hard to find stories in the desert, but I don't regret going there for a second. The landscape alone made it worthwhile for me. Driving across the Atacama (twice) was one of my truly unique life experiences.

With all the travels and trekking you guys do you must be very lucky or consummate professionals (I'd guess both) not to damage yourselves or the equipment. Lots of respect.
2018-05-01 23:24:10 +0000 UTCFrancesco trips a lot, but never with the camera. We have a running joke about it. We don't drop equipment, and we haven't crashed drones. Well, we've landed poorly, so that's a bit like crashing. And we've had a few instances where the wind started to steal it. But we've never damaged the drone. Most drone flights are done by me just in case it does break, I have the responsibility.
