Upcoming changes to credits

I wanted to give you all an update on the credit situation. I have finally decided to start using an automated service to generate my list of credits, which means the order of them has almost certainly changed significantly. If you're used to seeing your name in a certain spot, don't be too shocked if it's not there. But please do look for it! I'd like to know how reliably this works.

On that note--I'm considering splitting the "Your Name In Lights" category in two. Meaning, current $5 patrons might start appearing on-screen briefly after the scrolling credits, and the inclusion in the description will be eliminated. We're talking like for one second in a giant alphabetical list.  I haven't committed to this idea yet, but I've seen it done in some other channels and I like it. It will also be far easier to manage, because the description has a limited amount of space and there are so many of you! The biggest hurdles will be:

1. I will probably need to use After Effects to do this properly
2. I have no idea how to use After Effects

But it's been a long-time goal of mine to learn it, and this may be the perfect way to start!

Nothing is changing right now. The next video will be just like all the others, and will remain so until further notice. However, if you are currently a $5+ patron who does not want to appear on-screen, please send me a message via Patreon. I would be happy to remove you if that is your preference.

Option B is to change your name in the Patreon profile to something anonymous, but if you'd like to stay on this platform with your real name, but would prefer I remove it from credits lists, that's always an option. I'm here for you!

If all goes according to plan, a new video will be available for you tonight! It's close to the point of being able to render; I just have some other obligations that may get in the way.
