Demonitized again
Added 2017-12-17 01:09:38 +0000 UTCIndeed. The last one got flagged some time this morning. This reiterates again why I'm so thankful I have you and your support.
Going from advice I've heard in multiple places, I'll be changing how I release my videos. Those who are at the $5 and up support level will receive access to new videos earlier than before. It seems like having a video stay unlisted for 3 days is the sweet spot for determining monitization status.
I can only hope that this is indeed an algorithm issue and not the work of trolling. But alas, live and learn. YouTube may still be ironing the wrinkles out of their system, but it is in their best interest to get it figured out.
As always, thank you. A new video should be up within a week, but it may be a little while longer for it to go public.

So sorry to see you are having problems. I have updated my pledge to $10 ($12 with UK tax). I will keep it at this level until I can't afford it. I know you put a huge amount of effort into your videos. It is only fair that we support you as much as we can. Keep up the good work!
2017-12-17 11:05:14 +0000 UTCYMS has a process to get around demonetization. Basically put bad title and tags so that it will get demonetized immediately, then fix them and ask for review. Maybe consider that route. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PpDKniLLZV4
2017-12-17 01:51:34 +0000 UTCwhat is their reason given for the demonitization? - and don't worry about it too much, my friends who make several thousand dollars per month on YouTube, make 95% of it from Patreon contributions and amazon affiliate links, so even if youtube didn't pay them at all, it would hardly affect their income!
