One day more!

I ask once more for your patience with the upcoming video.  Please feel free to give me a digital punch to the face.  The edit is going smoothly and to be honest this is a simpler one as far as illustrations, however, a last-minute family need cropped up these past few days and I'm visiting the parents once again.  The good news is that I have my laptop this time and the Chroma Key is working.

The next 4 videos are all lined up in an actual schedule, can you believe that?  It's almost like I'm learning how to manage this stuff.

Next we're of course continuing the color TV discussion-so the tentative schedule is as follows:

1. Color TV follow-up--what I'm working on now

2. Color TV conclusion

3. Roller Coaster Safety Elements and Control--out of left field, somewhat but tied into my past family trip

4. A project involving 10 watt LED chips and a fish tank

The order of those things may move around a bit, but we'll see.  After that we'll take a break from exploring analog video and move onto another topic.  I'm thinking either electromechanics (with which I have a pinball machine from 1976 and jukebox from 1970 at my disposal for demonstration) or perhaps analog photography basics.  Which would you like to see next?

Thank you one-and-all for your continued support, and you should see the newest video late tomorrow evening (12/13)!

Don’t sweat it man! I love your content and am willing to wait to learn. Keep it up, I’m very excited for all of your up coming ideas :)

I'd lean towards the electromechanics as well, but I might be biased as my parents were analog photographers with a darkroom and I know some of the chemistry involved already ;) I appreciate the time and care taken so no worries on the timing from me :)

Appreciate the update. I'd love to see you get into a pinball machine and show its workings.

Getting it right in this day and age is more important than churning out content. Appreciate your videos, the hard work shows!

Sounds good to me, Alec. Although you have made many videos before, you're actually starting something new here. We'll bear with you while you get your ducks in a row. (I actually hate that phrase! :-)

I certainly don't want to sacrifice quality for quantity, but since I have more time on my hands I feel my productivity should increase. In the meantime I need to learn more about using the Adobe suite. Regarding mechanical computers, the pinball machine sort is one! Granted, it's more of a glorified adding machine, but it does perform some complex routines, particularly during the reset sequence. But don't worry, I've got plenty of other analog A/V stuff up my sleeves!

Quality, not quality. Take your time and make it right, I don’t mind waiting. I’d like to see continued analog electronics, but I think old digital equipment might be fun. You could cover things like the first mechanical computers through to vacuum tubes then the transistor. No need to cover even remotely modern systems, just stuff developed alongside the analog electronics you’ve already covered.
