A special thanks, updates, and question for you!

Don't get too excited, this is just an update for you.  BUT!  I'd love your input on an idea for a future topic, yay or nay.  See you later!

I'd be interested, but as you said, I'd think it'd be better to post it as a supplement video, rather than the main one.

How about a video on battery tech? In general, but also extra focused on EV batteries, and why electric cars are now becoming practical? Interesting fact: In September, 29% of new cars ordered in Norway (where I live) was an electric. They are taking over here, at least while the incentives are around. (Am a Nissan Leaf owner, but ordered a Model X two weeks ago.)

The shopping carts are for residents use--mainly to help get groceries up to our units. It's a pretty simple but useful amenity! Thanks for your support!

Unfortunately, with a Volt, even though I get a great sense of how living with a full EV would go, people will inevitably point out that I've never really had to worry about range. Plus, the small battery capacity means the impact of using accessories such as the cabin heater has a much greater impact on range as a percentage than a car with a larger battery. Trust me, I'd love to make this video, but there would be valid comments that my car is in its own category, and therefore I'm not really qualified to host such a discussion. Thanks for your support!

This is one of those issues where I think business owners can't see more than 1 or 2 years ahead. Smart apartment managers should, in my opinion, invest in EV charging infrastructure for their complexes. This would be a point-of-differentiation in the short-term, and quite possibly a necessity in the long term. I'm also somewhat baffled that utilities aren't coming up with solutions to add new service in parking lots. After all, their product is electricity, so why not find new ways to sell it? I actually reached out to ComEd, our local utility, when I started this project. I asked them if they had a program for adding service in shared parking or if one was in the works, and though I'm glad they actually took the effort to respond to me, the answer was a flat "NO"

Good luck with work! It can be quite a drain! I don't even drive (not by choice unfortunately), and I think it'd be interesting. Could just be because I'm on the board of my local HOA (sadly, nobody else would do it :( ). What's up with the shopping carts in the basement? I'm a curious one haha

I would be interested in seeing a video about the larger topic of life with an electric car, the pros and cons and such. I probably wouldn't get one myself at this point, but I am intrigued by the gadget factor (the whole car is one big electronic gizmo). The main reason I wouldn't get one is that I live in Michigan where the winter gives four wheel drive a big advantage.

Can’t wait to see what you come up with for the Farnsworth episode. Should be a great watch.

Great topic idea! I'm in an apartment which is one reason I don't currently have an electric car. My current understanding is that legally, they have to let me put a charger in, but I'd have to pay for it, which is very expensive. Also, if I were to move (and one reason I'm in an apartment is the flexibility to move), I'd be leaving the charger and that money behind.
