January Blog, Happy New Year!
Added 2025-01-01 15:58:03 +0000 UTCHey all!!! I wanted to start something new this year, and give you guys a monthly blog so I can give you my plans for the month and let you know about stuff going on in my life, ect.
Just reflecting on 2024, its crazy how fast this year has gone by. I lost my grandfather this year which was really hard, but I really appriciate the kindness and support I recieved from all of you during my hiatus back in March and April. Ya'll are really the best.
2024 also got me farther into Faroff and I am FINALLY starting to get into the meat of this story. The boys are getting to know each other and their slow burn is finally starting to burn. 2025 will ultimately bring more and more romance, some drama...and I THINK we will finally reach a part I've been waiting to get to for YEARS. That is veryyyyy exciting. Can you believe Faroff will be 4 YEARS OLD THIS YEAR??? That is crazy.

Get as far into Faroff as I can
Finish up some old wip (including the College AU comic for Fenn's Hard Helmet and above)
Give ya'll some more behind the scenes content. I promised a breakdown of my work method, so I will definitely be making a post about that!

And this seems like a big stretch goal but I'm always trying to make this my full time job. Who knows, maybe this year will be the year!
Webtoon also has a contest going on this year, and I am low-key considering entering it with a new comic idea. If that does end up happening, I will be sharing more details with you as I go!
As for my immediate plans, I tried to give myself a bit of a break over the holidays. Now it is back to work, I have most of the next chapter written out, I will be sketching this week and Tobi's Missing Button and tiers above should be getting the sketch episode no later then early next week. It's an important one and I want to take my time with it to give you the best art/story that I can.

Fenn does have so much love in him 🥺 and I do understand what you mean but Fenn's pulling away has less to do with his gay feelings and way more to do with the fact that Tobi is an enemy soldier who he is supposed to be at war with. He would be pulling away like this even if they were a straight couple, because of the brainwashing about the enemy side and his constant fighting with himself over what's right and wrong. It's unique to this story, and Fenn does still have some deprogramming to get through 😭 I do understand wanting them to be romantic tho, I crave this too all the time 🥹

2025-01-01 19:24:06 +0000 UTCIt is your story and I will love it no matter how it is told … I am just hoping for once to not have the Fenn character as is usual do a giant pull away and get negative and hurtful to Tobie I have only ever seen this in gay story lines and Fenn just feels like he has sooo much love in him that the realization that Tobie likes him also… well I would love to see Fenn just bubble over 😆 yep hopeless romantic here 🙄😜💖

Plenty of potential upsides, including a possibility of getting you a step closer to your stretch goal. At the absolute very least, you give yourself an additional avenue to show people your work and potentially increase patrons in the process.
