Oi! Indeed I remember putting a lot of time in this reference list at the time, it was especially relevant then because all of this was fresh in my mind, I really wanted to go down the Doujin route. Nowadays I think for better or worse I have defined a more personal look and feel and perhaps strayed a little too much from the core motivation that animated me. It would be harder now to backtrack to those initial references, even though they fed into my work, it's now mixed with layers of other sources! I also Don't actively study and look at them as much, the real challenge is finding direction in my work and I am better served developing my own language to address that. I do think it would be an interesting exercise and I suspect it would probably be a bit broader in scope, including a lot of stuff that motivates me artistically even though you probably Don't see it so much, like Sergio Toppi's renderings or my creeping passion for Mégastructures ever since I delved into Tsutomu Nihei. I'm quite terrible at Following through these days so I won't offer a timeline, but I'll think about it!

Do you feel like doing it again one day? I would be curious to compare it with my own :>
