2024-01-15 03:49:47 +0000 UTCOhh I think you mixed up the children’s backstories LOL. The siblings story was Minjoon and Jei in this episode. In the captions, it said that they live in the paternal’s grandparent’s house. You see the husband/father holding Jei when the mom was going to work. Both parents work, so the grandparents take care of the kids when they’re gone. For Yeojun he has a totally different story, but I won’t spoil it for you. It will be a heavy/emotional episode though, you’ll also get to know Yoon’s background too. Also, Yoon’s answer too is very heart warming and emotional too. Actually, it makes me feel for Yoon recently… as you know.. Yoon is the only son to a single hard working mother, his dad left them when he was super young. I think his grandparents unfortunately passed away. So for the most part, he was alone in his childhood unless his aunt/uncles watches over him. Anyways, Yoon finally was ready to meet his father a few years ago…or at least reach out to him. But he found out that his father has passed away. I’m sure he felt mixed emotions about it…in one hand..he didn’t know his father that well. But also he could have reached out to him earlier and he is father after all. Now he doesn’t have the opportunity to talk or get to know him cuz he’s gone. He actually composed a song called, “365” for his solo album PAGE. That song is dedicated to his father and you can feel his emotions in the lyrics and the way he sings it. Ughh it hits your heart and personally for me I can totally relate. I lost contact with my dad a long time ago. I don’t hold grudges and I’m always open to seeing him. But he always hides away even though he asks family friends about me. Maybe he feels ashamed for not being more involved in my life..cuz for the most part he was involved in my life. He just kind of disappeared when I got to high school/college. But learning from Yoon’s experience… i feel like I should try again and reach out to him. I still care and love him even though we haven’t talked or seen each other for a long time. Life is short you know??
